AMD versus Superchips A4 130tdi

Can anyone provide any help/opinions

Which chip to go for for an A4 03 130bhp Tdi engine? How good are the results? Insurance - who with?

and on another note, fitting a cd autochanger to a4 concert radio?

Have heard good things about AMD but don't know about Superchips.

Re the CD player, you can get a Sony unit - CDXT70MX (about £170) which will also play MP3, or for less money the CDX-T69 (about £100) which is just CD player, both are 6 disc & work, through an interface(www.connects2.com/) from the Audi unit. I fitted the CDXT70MX in the glove box of my A3 and by using the MP3 facility I can have 99 tracks per disc (more will fit but the head unit can only 'do' 99)

You could buy the Audi CD changer but it is bigger and (I believe) more expensive and not MP3 compatible.

I've had the superchip in a 130 tdi, and the results were great. The wee traction control light stays on until you get into 4th, so you end up leaving it off. Plenty of power, and a 0-60 time in the low 7's I would imagine. Maybe less. Not sure about AMD though!

Amd - wont take my car anywhere else even though it means a 2 hour drive...

I know the company I used are dam good, they gave me 50bhp more and lots more torque Wheel spin isnt the word, took them about 1 hour to do the whole job Impressed isnt the word. And sorry but iam not paying superchip prices lol. If you want there info m8 email me
