How robust is Haldex, and can it allow you to lock the rear diff ( I mean properly lock it, not pretend lock it using differential brake actuation)?

Keen to know - I like the sound of this new notRS3

Maybe in Europe it's a decision, but personally, I can't see it working here in Oz except on people who think the badge is worth something. It's pricing is way out of it's league here I feel.

The badge itself is worth nothing of course. But jump out of a new Scooby, or Evo,and into a new Audi S4. Different worlds. But in an everyday context, comparable performance. Maybe it's an agge thing - as I get older I want a bit more... substance.

Exactly - I've got a V8 S4 and a mark III Impreza PPP. Both offer the same effective performance but the WRX is hard work and the S4 not. The S4 is easily worth the extra £15k.

PS Nice TR6 - is it a PI one?

Oh yes... very.
