to add:
- 10,000 miles p/a
- 0.6pence (ex vat) per mile
- Personal
- Excludes maintenance
- Excludes tyre cover

what the thoughts?
Seems a good price. Maybe another few quid to be had.
Do dsg and metallic really add 1500 quid to a lease over 2 years?
rule of thumb is what ever the outright cost of the option divide by the lease term and thats what it would add per month.

In short - you pay in full for any additional options during the lease term.

its why, imo, its not worth 'garnishing' the car with leather, bigger wheels etc because you can't keep them, you won't get your money back for them, might as well just enjoy the base car.

that said, the DSG was a must for me, due to the slightly better MPG, better integration with the ACC and launch control. but i couldn't bring myself to pay for anything else that just makes it look better.

Even having it in black added £12 a month or something to the price!

I quite agree which is why mine is a manual red 5 door (which was the same price as 3 at the time). Or will be when it arrives.....

Wow.

I pay £450, i also have 9+ years NCB but 6 points and live in an edgy part of essex with the OH as a named driver who's only had 1 years driving experience.

Can't wait for my points to come off!

I added after ordering and it was £16.76 but that price includes servicing

They won't PX.
Surprised if they won't. Both dealers I have used will.
My mistake. I always assumed they wouldn't.

Just ordered - was told signed form had to be at VWFS by 1700. Perhaps the 31st is the cut-off as suggested further up the page.

I deleted both from my order: The price was ok but there was an additional 4ppm penalty over the 5000 p/a I was taking so it was more expensive than me paying for servicing and tyres.

I think DSG (£1415.00) is one option VW don't charge the full amount for over the term

I'd say its more like 8 to 900 quid at a guess

Correct - Lapiz and DSG added 1300 app to mine, of which just over 400 was paint.

DSG has a residual value impact ( as CAP etc view it as a different model - it will have a different MVRIS code), that is why you don't end up paying the full amount on a lease. Other options may have a desirability impact, but by and large make no difference whatsoever to the RV.

Anybody priced a Performance Pack GTi?

M135i don't look so bad on a Business basis - and standard equipment looks to be way better than the Golf R...

Ordered my lease on Thursday, 10k p.a, non-maintained. I've been sitting wondering whether I should add maintenance to the deal, could anyone give me an idea of whether it is worth it over the two years I have the car?

We test drove a 5 door DSG R yesterday and loved it. however whilst sat waiting for the salesman to get the keys I read the above post re the deal finishing!

Is this definitely the case? If so does anyone know of any brokers / fleet companies with availability? I would even ditch the DSG if I could secure one for less than £350 pm (including initial cost).

I would also consider a S3 although they seem to be 50% more than the figures quoted for an R in this thread!

Thanks
