Lease on Golf R

Nice, I'm awaiting a quote back from them for a white with DCC and the blue, no haggling required to get that price ? Seems strange I would get such an increase and initial payment, this was from centralukleasing though, will see what freedom come back with.
No no haggling at all, didn't even bother as that is by some way the best price I have received, reviews of them also seem pretty good and they've been spot on so far.Good luck

Hi guys, I have been browsing the deals as well - a bit late to the party I admit!
Speaking of drivetrains, the Estate versions is currently the cheapest way to get the R power. Living in Central London and looking for smaller car, my preference was a 3-door Golf R. As far as I was able to find out, most of the 2014 deals have now gone. The price increase with the MY2016 change (earlier this month) has done the rest. Most of the leasing companies will try to sway you to cars they have already on order (but they are mostly 5 doors), so you may get these cars at the pre-price increase cost and more quickly (as they are earlier in the queue..).
For a new order, the cheapest offer I was able to find was at Carleasing-Online. The prices on their website may be outdated but aren't too far off (was only a few quid for me). Got a cracking deal there for a 3-door DSG R in red at 12+23 with 8k mls and paying below £250/month. Try to speak to Chris, he was very approachable and patient (me being new to the whole lease thing!). If you live in London, don't waste your time trying to go to Alan Day. They only work with VWFS and were more than £4k more expensive on a total amount payable basis!!
Hope this may help some of you that are still out there looking for a hatchback R!
Cheers Chris. What is Carleasing-online like to work for?Speaking of drivetrains, the Estate versions is currently the cheapest way to get the R power. Good luck
Hm, intriguing ; not business lease ? I'll see how I get on Good luck
£2486 initial and £269/month ; I'm thinking its not too bad, but 9.1ppm so unsure what to do now.. Any ideas or tricks required ? :-/
All the hatch back deals are nowhere near as good as they were and probably wont be again any time soon with the huge waiting list.
The estate version has brilliant deals but obviously isn't for everyone.
Best lease deal on a hot hatch is the 208 GTi, absolutely stonking deal....

Am seriously tempted myself, but not without a test drive...
Anyone know where i can test drive a Golf R estate?
Or should i just test drive the hatch and assume it'll be close enough?
I would imagine looking at an R hatchback and normal estate should give you a clear enough idea of what to expect!Anyone know where i can test drive a Golf R estate?

I just noticed the delivery date for my Golf R Estate has changed from 1st September to W/C 5th October (I placed the order on 30th April).
I'm hoping it won't be delayed further.
SDK who ďid you order with may I ask? Ordered mine around the same time so hoping mine isn't delayed too much now.I'm hoping it won't be delayed further.
Picked up the crazy lease deal from VW Telford today - Tonianne there was great, admitted she'd bagged herself an R too.
Now i know you all know this, but having had a V8 Esprit, Elise and 997C2S in the past (before kids!) i think the R might be better than all of them, it really is that good, I'd go as far as addictive. VW really have pulled a blinder especially at 2k down and 180 a month.
Unfortunately it's Mrs D's - i'll be stealing it whenever i can!

Does that deal exclude VAT and if so the same as many deals available. Now i know you all know this, but having had a V8 Esprit, Elise and 997C2S in the past (before kids!) i think the R might be better than all of them, it really is that good, I'd go as far as addictive.
