Do we have any a7 owners on here? It would be great to hear your first hand thoughts and experiences of your a7. I am looking to buy a 2012/13 a7 3.0 tdi s-line.

I dont own one but seriously considered an a7 last year, if you check my post history you might find where I asked the same Q.

think the concensus was they are still depreciating quiet quick but the car to go for is the 3.0tdi quattro Gets you a different auto box. The 2wd gets you the poor multitronic.

I wasnt impressed with the bootsize for the size of car but depends what you need it for.

They look great and seem to be decent value for money used, but I'm afraid I can't offer any more insight than that! Quite rare on the road not sure we have any owners on here.

My father owns a 2012 A7 3.0 tdi s-line and wishes he didn't most of the time. Although it has all the toys and a very good gearbox, he says it's dull. He commutes a 100 miles a day three or four times a week and he reports that the MPG is pretty good and it's comfy but it chews through tyres like nothing he's owned before.

He got a very good deal through Audi so it makes sense run to run it for another year but then it's gone. Driving it and looking at them, I find it hard to believe that they are late £50k to early £60k car.

You can actually get an A8 for a similar price, a much better car albeit not as stylish as an A7.

Got offered a 3.0 tdi black edition with £15k off list before I bought my S3.
Big, heavy cars that lack agility but are packed out with toys.

Make sure you get a huge discount as they depreciate in a rather huge way.

This!

Whilst it's an unusual request. You'd struggle to get a buggy and a small kids bike in the back. Style over substance. Which I guess is Audi's way

It's a familiar, proven platform (by that I mean, typically quattro, 3.0tdi etc) and lookswise it's great until you look at the rear: it's pinched, stretches too wide and looks dragged down. Every time I see it, it strikes me as an unfinished design.

...whereas I disagree and think its bum is the best bet of a very nice and distinctive design.

Needs to be quattro unless you have no interest in driving at all - the front wheel drive car is not as secure feeling on the move and under power the steering is corrupted noticeably by the torque.

Each to their own! It's just about the only audi model which I don't get. The s5 sportback is much better resolved I feel.

Swings and roundabouts, isn't it! I've never thought much of the A5 Sportback range as a shape. I think the A4 saloon is the better looking car and the A5 Sportback an obvious product of stretching the coupe.

I own a 2012 Bitdi with loads of kit in white. I think it’s brilliant, quicker than most cars on the road and since ownership I’ve averaged 39.3mpg. Get late 40’s on a steady run.

Loads of kit, radar cruise, HUD, Bose etc. I think it’s all the car I’ll ever need. Ask away any questions.

Audis light signature is pretty much the best out there?

New A7 is stunning!
