RS4 vs RS6 pricing

How come RS4s seem to be up for sale for mid 30ks still, while early RS6s are coming on the market for 39-40k already. Now I know the RS6 is great, but it isn't as good as the RS6.

Can't be supply/demand either as there are always a bunch of RS4s for sale. Maybe just the limited quantity sold (not sure how many) and the sellers not being desperate to move their motors?

I think they're both brilliant cars and would love either BTW.

RS4 was a much more limited release its also a little more friendly day to day on the wallet...

Hence the prices are a bit more resiliant...
