Can someone recomend good websites with detail
info on the 4motion system ?

There have been a few posts on here about the Haldex 4WD system which Audi fits to the A3 and TT. Its the same as the 4motion system on the Golf and Passat.

From memory I think that it runs 90% to the front and 10% to the rear with the latter increased as slip is detected.

Hopefully a search for 'Haldex' will give you what you want.
