2.0 CR 170 TDI Cam belt

Hi, looking to clarify when the cam belt change is due on the Audi B8 for the CR TDI engine.

There seems to be a bit of conflicting advice on this where the manual differs from the 5 years / 75,000 miles stated on the Audi website.

Can anyone confirm when the work should be carried out on these engines?

Same engine here!

Service manual states 114K Miles or 5 years. The local dealer also suggested 75K Miles.

I questioned the difference and the local dealer suggested it was prudent to change earlier ~ and then told me that all the lease companies have the first change at 140K miles.....

I plan to get it changed at 100K (4 years).

Need the year and engine code to say for sure as its changed a bit. In reality though you should get 100k out of the original belt.

Factor in the Kms to Miles and that a lot of the service books are not converted. Just someone idiotic writes miles instead when translating from German


So 140KM would be 87.5 miles (90K ish)
