Few more pics to hopefully answer some of the questions above. They told me no specific break in needed, just to be "sensible for a while"! Define "sensible"... ;-)

Adaptive cruise control is brilliant, very impressed with that. Dynamic Chassis Control - couldn't really feel a lot of difference between modes but I was being held up by an idiot in a Citroen C1 so couldn't really drive it properly.

Fantastic Ray congrats. Looks brilliant in that expensive paint. Fifteen quid a month! The humanity! #uranoftw

Anyone had an order number from CVL? Chased up again today and still nothing. Surely they've caught up with the back log?

That looks great Ray, could do with some dodgy seat covers though.

The upgraded alloys make that car look far sportier than it probably is, really sets it off nicely.

me either
dont think its a backlog issue. the dealer they use or vw themselves have i assume run out of "slots" for alltracks, they will have put in a request to vw for spare capacity/slots etc for bullds, will be awaiting response, otherwise i think that means we have breached 16weeks and looking at potentially 18-20-24 week builds.......

as these are upper end models, relatively rare , dont imagine vw normally build a lot of them tbh....so not a lot of slots at factory

look on the positive side if we extend out beyond wk22 build will likely be MY17 car with few changes/extras

Ah! I KNEW there was something missing. Couldn't quite put my finger on it... I'll get busy on ebay tomorrow ;-)

Sorry RayPike, another question if you don't mind. What are the day time running lights, are they the led indicator strip or are they simply a halogen bulb?

Yeah Ray. Pop out in the dark and take various pictures of the lights for your Internet friends. There's a good chap smile

Looks great in that colour with those wheels but my god those brakes are tiny!!
Hate big wheels with tiny discs behind them.

Finally got my order number from NVS so just a waiting game now.

It's an Alltrack - it's supposed to have 16" wheels with massive sidewall All Season tyres!

Are those wheels Diamond Cut? Gulp!

I don't mind waiting just some communication would be good to keep me up to date. I'as long as I have my slot I can wait a few extra weeks.

Pictures above look great. I'll definitely be putting on my VW 19inch talladega alloys.

Absolutely, can't believe he hasn't even replied yet, shocking neglect of his thread duties smile

On a separate note, I have been doing my own research on the car and I'm 80% sure that the led indicator strip below the headlights is also a drl on standard spec, and that the upgrade led lights are a solid white design with a u shape headlight drl combined with an L shape strip which runs along the bottom, full length of the headlight and at the side.

Would be good to get confirmation though. If you spec the car through a dealer you get an email with a more detailed spec than the online configuration tool and it states that the standard car gets 'seperate drl' which leads me to believe they don't use the headlight or sidelight. The video I posted earlier shows the indicator LED's as a white drl when indicator is not in use so I'm thinking that's what we'll probably be getting. Hopefully Ray can confirm smile

Oh, forgot to say, I'll try and dig out some other bits of useful info from my dealer personalised brochure. Some other cool stuff as standard, things like a chilled glovebox - ideal for keeping our beers cold and something else to drink when the onboard expresso machine breaks down smile (expresso machine is an optional extra before anyone asks)

Sorry, sorry... was watching a film.

Just started it up and "Auto" lights were on so I switched them off. All that was left on were the single bulbs for the DRLs. It's not a strip of LEDs - at least on mine it's not!

I'd have been much happier with dirty great 17" wheels to be honest. Beggars can't be choosers and all that.

Nope. No understandy. Need pics.

I suspect the boggo spec is like tealight candles right? Just halogen efforts?

Yup. Slightly yellowy tealights is a good way of describing them.

Indicators just single bulbs too? (Ie not led strip)
