The Golf R lease thread

Has anyone with a 2016 Golf R got the "shark fin" DAB aerial stuck on their rear-roof?
It was not on the 2014 model, but seems to have appeared "as standard" from the factory on this year's 2016 model?
If a car has a shark fin it means it's got Nav or Advanced Phone Prep. Cars from BW22 onwards all have Nav as standard which means they'll all have the shark fins. It was not on the 2014 model, but seems to have appeared "as standard" from the factory on this year's 2016 model?

Anyone know of any good lease deals currently available for a golf r?
I really fancy one, but even second hand 2 year old your looking at 20k, with a 15k bank loan for 5 years it's 275 a month. Big commitment for me.
All the deals are pretty much the same now, since they're just trying to get rid of cars in stock (orders for the facelifted R won't commence until about March).I really fancy one, but even second hand 2 year old your looking at 20k, with a 15k bank loan for 5 years it's 275 a month. You're looking at around £250 a month on a 9+23 with 8k pa mileage, based on Solid White or Red. Metallic colours will be around £265.
For some reason the UK press haven't reported this, but the new R is on the German VW Configurator. 310PS, so an extra few ponies but not much.
Other than that a different bumper and better interior tech. Really hoping for some good deals on these soon!
(Pictures above show optional wheels and Pro Nav/Virtual cockpit thingy)
Disappointing that the standard wheels are the same as before as they've always let the R down IMO.
Configurator here: http://app.volkswagen.de/ihdcc/de/configurator.htm...
Another point: It may just be German specification, or my lack of understanding but it appears that Adaptive Cruise Control is a €320 option.

My R has just pinged up that it needs its first oil service in a month, what are people paying?
Assume it needs to go to a main dealer?
Mine did the same about 3 weeks ago. it was due at 18,000 miles but there's 19,000 on it now. Not bad really considering the engine is quite tuned up (didn't it used to be something like 8,-10000 miles for "hot hatch" type cars?). It's going in this week with the local VW dealer.Assume it needs to go to a main dealer?
FYI it was£192 for the service. I've never paid to service a car before so I have no idea if that's good bad or average - interesting to find out whether yours was the same price.
