Just ordered the following from Yes Lease:

Golf R Estate Face Lift 5 dr DSG
3+23
5k miles
£321/month
£964 initial
£300 fee
8.4ppm excess

If I need any more miles I'll just pay the excess as it's quite a low rate or add it as a bundle (whatever is cheaper).

This comes out at 24% of list which is good in my book. Replaces my GTD hatch which goes back in June.

Maybe I do maths wrong, but I work it out as 27%? And that's considering 5k miles and a best price of £31,759 from CarWow...

I also thought the 25% mark was meant to be good for 10k not 5k?

Don't know but I'm happy with the deal, if I need another 5k miles I'll just pay the £420 at the end of it.

Our Golf R Estate is on a 10k per year lease. We've had it 6 months and already done 8.5k. Oops...

The mileage is an important variable

I'm in talks with CVL now about their Mk7.5 R deal for the missus. It's defo the best facelift deal by a mile but...

Mileage is only 5k, excess is 11.4p inc vat. But they will sell mileage "bundles" at 8.4ppm inc vat (it is not with VWFS either).

We need 7kpa really, but that pushes it to £265/m inc vat but we wanted to keep it under £250/m

With metallic & 7k (£2800 initial to cover metallic) the average is £378/m or total £9075 which is just too steep IMO. (27.4% of £33,090 list)

It's arrived smile

Any idea how I get App-Connect activated? Do I have to pay a dealer to turn it on?

Yes. They charge around £200 to activate it. It's a rip-off, but still worth doing IMO. I use it with Android Auto and it works very well.

Ive been doing the same, 5door dsg but standard white as the colour to keep costs down.

First time ive ever not specd bigger wheels, leather etc after years of pcps...its hard lol.

Im the same on the mileage, probs around 7k too.

Its better than a lot of deals recently, but still not quite good enough for me yet...

Their quotes are also more expensive for 3door than 5, even though 5 door list is more expensive, unless they have made an error?!

It's to do with the deals they're getting rather than list price.

Must be either better residual or more discount on 5 doors.

I make it £361/m average or £8684 total, which is 26% of £32,600 list? (5dr R manual)?

Still a bit too much...

That is exactly it. More people want 5 doors than 3 doors.
