I've secured a cancelled order on a metallic black one, 331 on a 3+23, but compared to a lot of the awful offers around currently I'm pretty happy with that!

Mileage allowance? 5dr/3dr? Manual?

Thread of conversation suggests estate, and therefore DSG.

My estate order seems to have gone through in super quick time. Ordered 2nd July, build date w/c 31st July, and received notification yesterday that the car is in the country. Looks like I'll have two Golf Rs for 3 months.

You can delay delivery

This is what I'm hoping. I tried it with my current car, but the maximum time I was allowed was 4 weeks, however that was a lease with Arval, and I'm led to believe VWFS are different in this respect.

Good to hear! A few people have mentioned having to take delivery within the quarter the lease was ordered in, but your experience doesn't seem to suggest this. Anyway, waiting on a call from the lease company to clarify.

I sorted the delayed delivery of mine with the dealer rather than the lease company.

I sorted it with the lease company, having had no direct contact with the dealer - other than their initial (higher) quote iin what seems like years ago frown
I even offered to collect it ( secretly hoping for the bunch of flowers and big bow round the car hehe ) but they declined.

I'll be collecting mine from the Lease Company as they're only 50 miles away & although they offer free driven delivery, i'd rather check the car over with whoever's supplying it rather than a random driver & the Lease Company will hand over the car with a full tank of fuel as i'm collecting it, rather than their normal 1/4 tank.

Although it will take a couple of hours out of my day, it should be an enjoyable couple of hours, i'd prefer to be the first person to really drive the car & i'll save a few quid with the full tank as an added benefit.

Turns out the answer to this was that it does need to be delivered within the financial quarter, so 29th September at latest.

It's the estate, so only 5 doors and DSG. 8k allowance, I don't do that much, current BMW has done ~6k a year

I just spoke to Crewe VW(James) and the cars are stock and white only. Kind of put me off as not overly keen on white cars..
Thanks for that, does the estate have the mark 7.5 refresh (7sp DSG, digital dash etc) and if so are these 7.5's?
Yep, it's the 7.5, I checked that before ordering

This deal seems really good!

http://www.uchoosecontracts.co.uk/personal/volkswa...

Anyone used these guys? It's it all genuine?

£289 for a 9+35 lease with 10k seems to be the best offer around at the moment!

Yep that's the best offer around at the moment which I'm pondering over. UChoose are part of Swansway group so are a main dealer - I.e. Genuine! :-)

That's who i've just ordered through.

Note i went for 6+23 as for some reason it reduced the overall cost by about £100 (not a huge amount but that's 2 tanks of fuel paid for).

They've been savvy & ordered ahead so basically very close to the crazy deals from a few weeks ago, however they've bulk ordered a load of standard spec Pure White Estates for delivery in 6 weeks.

Edited to say they also don't charge fees which many of the dealers/brokers a few weeks ago did & most were charging £300.
