Quick question regarding additional mileage and checking out my maths..... When I spoke with Warrington IMG yesterday they told me it would be £10 a month to increase mileage from 8k to 10k which seems very reasonable. Doing the numbers on excess mileage I make it that by not adding the miles upfront and paying the excess mileage would be cheaper? I worked out that it would be 8.7p including VAT which is £87 per 1000 miles so £174 for 2000 miles saving £66 for paying the mileage at the end?

I have rounded for the example but does that seem about right? I'll need to add miles probably to 12k so I want to do it in the most efficient way.

It works out as £10pm more for 2000miles, therefore £120 per year and £240 for 24 months. If paid the excess mileage charge this would be approx £174 per year and £348 for 24 months

I've just ordered a 300st DSG 4drive with leather, adaptive cruise and winter pack (part of leather option) on 15kp.a for £340 a month, can't wait! perdormance bargain when compared to anything that can do a sub 5sec 0-60!
Hi, can you tell who was it from and what was the base price for 8 or 10 kpa?
Wanted the estate, but IMG quoted me 319 per month, plus 180 fee, no options for 8kpa.

I've also just jumped on this IMG lease bargain. I did have a new Golf GTI on order from earlier in the year but due to delays cancelled it. Glad i did now.

Gone for 5 door manual, not sure on colour yet and might opt for seat sound (if its worth it?) I wanted DSG but not worth £40 a month on a lease car!

This will keep me going until the Tesla Model 3 (eventually) arrives mid 2019!!

Quick question, do the 280/290/300 Cupras come with electric folding mirrors?

Just to get this in 'my stuff' for quick reference later, I ordered a cupra 300 in white. options were dsg, seat sound and winter pack. i've got a very old leon amongst some other generally old motors so wanted something reliable and effortless for 2yrs. it's only a smidge over 300pm and if I get on well after the 2yrs, i'll likely buy something new and expensive at that time, unless there's some other decent lease deal about.

Went for a test drive after work and I'm sold! Only decision now is whether to go to mystery blue or monsoon grey. I was planning on monsoon but haven't actually seen it on the car, the cupra I test drive was in mystery and looked really nice polished up!

I'm thinking about options but as I need to add miles up to 12000 I may have to leave them all off. Does anyone know how much it adds for the metallic paint?

IMG Warrington offer includes any colour (I went for Desire Red)
Extra 1kpa is about 5 per month, options are charged at full price (have a look at SEAT car configurator and then divide by 24 for monthly price).

Double checking but also auto wipers, lights, dimming mirror and front/rear sensors?

We may have missed the boat with this now unfortunately, my wife's current leased cactus goes back in November. Originally I asked Adam if he could delay the car until then, now it would probably be January!

I ordered mine yesterday and was told late November/early December delivery. I also believe some people who ordered a few weeks ago and we're quoted late September delivery have been offered a delivery delivery very early September, to be honest even though I only placed the order yesterday I could of maybe jumped on them early delivery slots if I was open to not my choice of colour/options etc

Trying to weigh up 1.4 FR vs Cupra.

Cupra is 1+23 @ 249 + admin fee, 8k miles, 35-40mpg
FR is 1+23 @ 202 (220ish with auto wipers etc) no admin fee, 10k miles, 40-45mpg

To me it is a no brainer, but the wife..

FIL has the FR 1.4. It's ok, especially for a small engine. But FR isn't like the gen 2 leons where FR's were fairly sporty. FR is just a trim level now and it's alright, but once you've been in the cupra, it's utterly boring. For 2 years I wouldn't want to think "I COULD have had the cupra..." - but alternatively, you don't want to think "The extra 5mpg over X thousand miles per year would have been nice."

The FR would be fine for what she needs, just I'd like the extra power of the Cupra for weekends occasionally! I've had a 2.0 TDi FR ST for a while earlier in the year and have driven the engine in an A1 so know what its like.

I'll do the calculations for the fuel economy difference again, the IMG deal expires soon according to the small print on their site..

The Cupra is a great Jeckll and Hyde car, and for that price difference with the additional spec alone, its a no brainer for me.
