Anyone know if you can do 6 or 9 months up front on these IMG / Seat lease deals and if so how the brings down the monthlies. Very interested in a ST Cupra DSG. Cheers
I inquired about this and yes it is possible. The deal worked out slightly worse when I did the maths so i still went for the 1+23. I can't remember the figures but certainly worth asking and seeing what works for you best.Phoned SEAT customer services today asking about order progress and it wasn't good news. I ordered July 22nd, I'm being quoted for delivery week 8 2018. I ordered a hatchback/blue/dsg with no other options. They advised calling in a month to see if it's better but right now that's all I got.

Had you been told a build week previously? Was week 8 given to you as unconfirmed? Myshra said:

Disappointing as SEAT are still quoting 19 weeks lead time on lease plan lead time document which was updated last week. marknemo said:

Week 8 is unconfirmed and they suggested I call back in 4 weeks. I asked them generally how accurate unconfirmed dates are and they dodged the question pretty hard (almost certainly policy I guess). I had previously been given an approximation by the garage (not IMG but one matching the deal) of Oct/Nov at the time of order. I recieved the order number on the date I did the deal from the garage so figured I'd be seeing the car this side of Christmas as I'm only ordering DSG. jimmyt1202 said:
Well I've just left a deposit with IMG for a Nevada White 5dr Manual with Winter Pack My first brand new car although the wait is going to be a killer. Phil said looking at January/February!
it seems the dealers are still quoting 19 weeks (ish) but when contacting SEAT direct people are hearing more like 28-30 weeks. a4cabrio said:
Just enquired with IMG Warrington about a Leon Cupra & told delivery estimate is Feb/Mar, very good deal but the delivery is far too long
Bad planning by SEAT. Create an offer but dont have the capacity to keep up with demand when people order it.I have just checked with our lease car provider at work and they are claiming 17 weeks lead time for Cupra so i dont know how the lead times vary so much

I phoned on Friday and was informed that my car had arrived in the country the day before and that it would take 2-3 weeks to get to dealership and that I should contact them for updates. I haven't phoned IMG yet to discuss this. I ordered a standard blue manual on 14th July. I actually don't want my car till later so hope this isn't the case, will need to get round to calling IMG.

Car looks beaut Hothatch! Did the rear 'find' come as standard? I ordered Nevada white but I'm still considering changing to mystery blue if I can bit I can't decide! I'm worried white is quite common and will show dirt for how often I'm likely to clean it. Mystery blue seems like a real head turner!marknemo said:

Yep, it's great, always had blue cars not been that sunny tbh this week when the sun shines really brings out the blue. Turns a few heads too...Yes white does show the dirt loads, hammered down with rain drove 80 miles cross country on 2nd day of having car and tbh hid the little dirt really well. Only the back, boot lid etc had some light dirt on
Rear find? Not sure what you mean, think it's the fins either side of rear windscreen?
If so yes no options ordered completely standard.
