I placed my order from IMG Warrington on Monday - gone for a Desire Red with DSG box and no options, can't wait. Although I'm going to have to as I've also been given a Jan lead time!

Yep, it's great, always had blue cars not been that sunny tbh this week when the sun shines really brings out the blue. Turns a few heads too...
Yes white does show the dirt loads, hammered down with rain drove 80 miles cross country on 2nd day of having car and tbh hid the little dirt really well. Only the back, boot lid etc had some light dirt on
Rear find? Not sure what you mean, think it's the fins either side of rear windscreen?
If so yes no options ordered completely standard.
Yes I meant rear fins, I think they look good so I hope they are standard on all of them now. Still undecided on colour..... blue does look good though...

For those of you who have leased through IMG, how long after paying the deposit did you sign the lease documents/receive an order number?

I paid my deposit last week but not sure of timescales afterwards.

Bit pished about the news of the longer lead times - at this point I'm going to be on a new reg! Ordered 3rd week Sept.

I guess this beast of a Nissan Micra Sport+ I picked up last weekend for 1K will have to last me a while longer... Still at least the worst of the weather will be out of the way hopefully and my chances of finding a tree will be minimised, fractionally.

Anybody had particularly good quotes insurance wise for the car, and have you taken out GAP? I'm being punished for the last 5 years living in London as a named driver, 0 NCB, 35yo, £670 via LVE.

I'm just hoping it's long as it's unconfirmed and it will tighten up in a few weeks time really. If you guys want to check yourself the number for SEAT CS is 08085 222 222 - when you hit the IVR and the voice starts going through the options it's option 4. You'll need your order number, mine was 8 digits, started 27xxxxxx

I will use mine for work and was somewhat alarmed at the £800 a year they wanted based on 15k miles p.a. 33Yold, max no claims and decent postcode. I'll do some digging as this was as part of my wife's LV policy but even so its far more than anything ive insured recently

I tried price comparison sites and it was woeful, between £700-800. I'm insured currently with Direct line and the change to the Cupra is £440 a year, 27 yrs old with 8 years NCB for 10k miles a year.

I think I've found GAP at around £80 over the term.
Pick my Monsoon Grey DSG up on the 20th, it's been a killer as it arrived at IMG on the 1st but I haven't had time to go and collect frown

Does the Seat not have the collision detection stuff you get on a Golf?

Ordered 3rd August.

Enquired with IMG the other day as hadn't had order number or anything and wanted an idea about selling my car. Phil came back to me today saying build week 39 (last week September) and should be with them towards end of October.

I was originally told December / January when I ordered. Obviously might slip a bit but it's positive for those thinking might have to wait until next year.

Probably worth saying I did order a standard ST so maybe it's quicker because most have ordered hatchbacks?

Hi, I pick mine up on Tuesday now that I've sold my car (IMG have been great). Can I ask where you have found the gap insurance from?

Picked up my mystery blue Leon 300 from IMG today. Thank goodness they do not deliver, I had a 240 mile trip back to SE London to enjoy and get to grips with all the tech (my first new car).

I'm very very impressed. It's seriously rapid, beautiful looking, very comfortable and despite a few 'blats' it averaged 37mpg and drank just over half a tank of fuel.

Gonna rag it tomorrow:-)

Upon collection yesterday my mystery blue Cupra was parked next to a Desira Red Cupra. As much as I love the blue, I must admit to having a touch of colour envy. Desira red just looks utterly stunning.

ALA were recommended to me on here. 5 years back to invoice was around £400 I believe on my RS worth similar money.
