ALA were recommended to me on here. 5 years back to invoice was around £400 I believe on my RS worth similar money.
Just quickly chucking it into ALA quote. For a the current Cupra deal with £1000 upfront cover it works as £175. Good value at that price

The games have begun.... rang today to check on my order and told that it hadn't been allocated a build week. I asked if it still had an unconfirmed build week of 6th of November as previously stated to me and I was told it's never got to the unconfirmed stage. I'm happy to wait for the car but it's frustrating constantly being given different information which is making me less excited than I want to be. Is anyone else having similar problems? I don't care if the unconfirmed build week has changed as it's "unconfirmed" but worrying that the person I've just spoke to says there never was one assigned....

Bit pished about the news of the longer lead times - at this point I'm going to be on a new reg! Ordered 3rd week Sept.

I guess this beast of a Nissan Micra Sport+ I picked up last weekend for 1K will have to last me a while longer... Still at least the worst of the weather will be out of the way hopefully and my chances of finding a tree will be minimised, fractionally.

Anybody had particularly good quotes insurance wise for the car, and have you taken out GAP? I'm being punished for the last 5 years living in London as a named driver, 0 NCB, 35yo, £670 via LVE.
I was quoted c£400 from eSure off comparison websites. 36yo with 5 years NCB.
I will use mine for work and was somewhat alarmed at the £800 a year they wanted based on 15k miles p.a. 33Yold, max no claims and decent postcode. I'll do some digging as this was as part of my wife's LV policy but even so its far more than anything ive insured recently
I tried price comparison sites and it was woeful, between £700-800. I'm insured currently with Direct line and the change to the Cupra is £440 a year, 27 yrs old with 8 years NCB for 10k miles a year.

I think I've found GAP at around £80 over the term.
Pick my Monsoon Grey DSG up on the 20th, it's been a killer as it arrived at IMG on the 1st but I haven't had time to go and collect frown
Ah yes delivery wasnt included in the 'killer' deal was it ! I think delivery is quite a biggy when it comes to hassle and stress. Especially if you live hundreds of miles away as most likely will

Ordered 3rd August, I think it was accepted by SEAT on the 13th or somewhere close to that...

Picked up my Nevada White on Tuesday from IMG, drove about 250 miles home, averaged 39 mpg. Quick car! Happy with it.

Looks lovely! This is exactly what I've ordered! When did you put your order through?
Cheers, put the order through in July.

I personally don't think that is very cheap. Unless prices have gone up a lot? I paid £120 two years ago for my golf gtd.

No consistency it seems. The Nevada White one above was July order.

I ordered mine on 13th July and got consignment number the same day off the dealer. Havent rang for build week yet but should do to plan for current car goign back.

Hi folks,

Quick question for all of you with the hatch Cupra - how would it fare as a single car for family use with a small child? Is the space in the back and the boot decent enough to make it possible with a rear-facing car seat and pushchair etc.? I've got a leased Audi A4 saloon at the moment and I'm considering this as a replacement (or the estate if the hatch would be no good).

Any thoughts gratefully received!

Cheers!

there has been a huge increase in Insurance premium Tax since then though so that would account for a large proportion of it being higher.

Are IMG no longer offering this?

I tried the page on their website, but I'm getting a 'Page not found' error.

I just called to check mine, latest from seat UK is that its unconfirmed build week 47, delivery build week 51.(W/C 18th December)
Brand support say that although not confirmed, it will not change unless there is a natural disaster...

We shall see!!

same here. seems to have expired or been withdrawn, not surprisingly. Might be worth emailing or calling them though for more info. pm me if you want their direct email addresses.

i ordered in early july and have received no info other than an email saying that everything's on track. Haven't bothered checking order number with SEAT direct as i wasnt given one, so im just plodding along assuming all is well biggrin

Yes offer is now over. They posted on the Facebook. They did put it up to £259 but seems that lasted a week and now all finished

Lucky you, I put my order through IMG beginning of July but seems I'm waiting until end of December.... don't really understand how Seat are allocating builds to people as it certainly doesn't seem to be in order of when ordered. I was told October when I ordered so the extra wait was a bit of a surprise and inconvenience for me (my company car goes beginning October) but Dealer isn't bothered at all just 'tough luck'

Decided to drop IMG an email today and they confirmed they will have my car in December and will confirm the exact date when they have it. Time to sell my BMW for a banger until the car turns up then..

Shame Seat dont have the portal like Audi do for looking at progress, given they are the same group VAG
