A bunch of us got £250 in high street vouchers when they ran out of Dynamic Grey paint last year if you're looking for a yardstick.
Thanks Andy, was this IMG or Seat customer services who offered the vouchers ? IMG offered me free paint protection / interior protection - super gaurd or I negotiated a free service but they are too far to make this practical, so going with paint protection - better than nowt.

Typically they only get in touch prior to collection - normally a few days before it's delivered to them and then you sign the paper work.
Ok thanks, spoke to someone at Seat she said build week in October but delivery mid December, seemed excessive!

I'm also thinking of cancelling my order too. 3 weeks driving a v8 had made my mind up that I need to scratch that itch when back home.
What have you been driving? Picked up my Cupra yesterday and had a nice drive back from Manchester. The Cupra is an absolute beast! What I actually like the most is the car drives like a normal 5dr when you want it too and then give it some welly and the power is incredible. Having owned cars like the V6 370z and 3.0si Z4 the hard sporty drive gets a bit boring (and uncomfortable) at times on long drives so I'm welcoming the Cupras ability to be both a quick sporty car and then comfortable when needed.
I had a Dodge Durango srt and currently got a Chrysler 300s. I'm undecided today what to do. I know fuel being $2.30 a gallon here currently helps I know.
I ran around in a 5.0 Mustang GT for a week or so last year and although I've always said I don't care about fuel bills, getting 9.6mpg average hurts!

I am hoping to put mine on but I haven't mentioned it to the IMG Warrington yet so I would be keen to know if other people have done it and what the process/charges might be.

I put my private plate on my Cupra Black last year, the general process is that you collect the car on it's normal plate and then ring up VWFS to request a plate transfer, they send out a form and you send it back with your retention certificate and they will sort it - iirc they charge about £40 as an admin fee to do it (despite it being a two minute job but that's a different matter)

Thats not too bad, I thought they might try and take a bigger fee than that,

Collecting mine tomorrow - can't wait.

Selling a very clean Nissan Micra Sport+ (1.2) in the midlands if anybody needs a motor to fill a gap.

Has anyone used TOTAL LOSS GAP insurance ? They are cheaper than ALA by about £40. £94 vs £135 (includes PH discount)

Picked it up today... Performs very nicely indeed! Very pleased.

If anybody is after one Scott Hunter @ Wolverhampton Seat can still source some stock cars, tell him James sent you over.

Is it the manual one? I am looking at photo pretending it's later in the year and on my drive haha

Yes mate, manual.

It's very very easy to drive quickly, though the weather around here today wasn't great, 3rd gear wheel spin!

Lots to like about the car.

Spent 20 minutes trying to hunt down the fuse box after the manual suggested it was in the driver side, turns out it's actually behind the glove box - just squeeze the slide rails together and it'll undo to give access to fuses.

Going to get an add-a-fuse tomorrow to hardwire in my dash cam.

Before I start wrecking the car, any idea how I remove the A pillars? Guessing it's a pull off clip affair?

Ha perfect timing, I collect mine Tuesday and was gonna start hunting online for fusebox info.

I too will be hardwiring my dash camera with add a fuse ( it's got a parking mode and needs a permenant and ignition live hence why I can't use the 12v cig socket ) after having dash cameras on the last 4 cars I've never had to remove a A pillar trim and strongly advise you don't ( airbags can be very dangerous and only go near one after unplugging the battery and leaving for a while, but this can cause issues itself ) simply tuck your dash camera cables under the the door seal ( it normally has a lip where it mates with the interior trim which can safely hide a cable ) and then use a debit card ( so you don't scratch anything ) to push and tuck the cable in the small gap between where the headliner and the windscreen meets. I've never had to remove a panel during dash cam fitting and always ended up with a very neat job and I'm hoping the Cupra is the same. Hope that helps and not to much egg sucking.

I bought policy from them, but I didn't have a chance to test its effectiveness. Have policy for other car with sister company gap123.

How does it sound when you change gear? On the DSG's there is a bang/pop every time it moves up a gear, interested to know if there is something similar
