Couldn’t agree more, I honestly think they’ve made a titanic balls up of it since day 1 but as I’ve got a free car for now I’m not going to complain too much!
You cant complain at that unless they have put you in a a rubbish carGrantyboy1983 said:
Just a query for those who have picked up from IMG. Are they forthcoming with the £250 deposit that you put down when ordering? Or did they need a kind reminder of this? Just asking as I'm picking up 2moro? Thanks
They were very forthcoming with the deposit return for me. Went to get the card machine to refund it when I arrived. Cheque waiting for their deposit contribution as well.Yes i have to say it was no problem getting the deposit back, in fact they reminded me of this and i've also got money in the bank from them for initial payment. Still not had much of a play about in the car as of yet (mainly due to the weather), but will get more familiar as the days go by. Looking forward to a good burst in Cupra mode in dry conditions.

Could have really done with a 4wd Leon this weekend ffs!
Why?Driven my 420ps Cupra all weekend, finished work at 6am on Sunday and drove home in 3-4 inches of snow, roads not treated at all, All with summer tyres on as well.
No issues at all, its all about adjusting your driving.

I'd wager the fella knows how to drive. It took me 15 minutes to drive 50ft in to my side road and get the fking thing up an 8" incline on to my drive, including a shovel and old carpet.
Am sure you'd have just rolled in no issues though
Hi Folks,
Not sure if anyone from the original Black Edition deals still loiters round here?
My oil service is due but I don't have a copy of my contract with me at the moment. Do I need to use a SEAT dealer or can I use any VAG service centre? Also what price have people paid?
Secondly, what tyres have people gone for when changing? Wouldn't mind a bit more wear out of the second set of fronts to see the contract through. The originals only seemed to have 7mm of tread from day 1... Anyone found anything that improves the dreaded wheel hop??
Cheers all

I am in the same boat, I have a VW dealer close-by but Seat dealer is a bit of a trek so was planning to contact VWFS a bit later. From online research it looks like like the standard price for the first service is £189?Not sure if anyone from the original Black Edition deals still loiters round here?

Phoned Arnold Clark SEAT this morning. £129 for oil service which includes the usual guff of a walkaround video of the car etc. Pretty priceyy purely for what is essentially an oil change, but could be worse. Not sure if anyone from the original Black Edition deals still loiters round here?

Folks,
When I’m giving the car some umph every now and then the dashboard lights up with a red vehicle warning sign what does that mean?
I think you're on about the front assist warning system. Basically it thinks you're going to hit something in front of you. I had it a few times driving at night with nothing in front of me.When I’m giving the car some umph every now and then the dashboard lights up with a red vehicle warning sign what does that mean?
