Don't treat the accelerator as an on/off switch wink

Had mine since September and really enjoying it.

One annoying glitch though! When I start the Seat satnav when I am parked 'off road' (a Tesco park for example) it can not find my location. This will continue for the whole journey no matter how long. For example, on friday I started the satnav at home, and 1 hour later it still hadn't found my location.

This has been happening since I got the car so not a recent problem.

Mine asked for one around 9000 miles which was a bit annoying

Can you choose or ask for it to be set up on long life servicing?

Yeh but if your not on longlife it will require a oil change to long life oil.

Anybody got any experience of returning a cupra to seat yet. Will probably be returning mine early. Has some damage (I scraped it in a car park) and wondering whether to repair before return. Reading other threads on here about returns to lease companies the charges seem reasonable and less than getting repairs done at a body shop, but wondering if this will apply to a return to seat.

Thanks in advance.

When I picked up my car in November my dealer said they are delivered with long life oil. They just reset the ECU to long life - took them 5 mins.

Noticed that the £269 hatchback deal looks to have been pulled from IMG Warrington website, only the ST deal showing now.

Did you ask them to reset the ECU? were they ok with that? Never had a lease before so just trying to be as prepared as possible when I pick up in a weeks time.

if the car has long life oil it will be set to long life, if it has normal oil it will be set to normal.

my 2014 came with long life from factory.

I asked the Sales Manager whether it was set to long life or not - he said not but confirmed they all come with long life oil from the factory (maybe not in 2014?). I asked if he could set it to long life, he said no problem, rang the workshop and the car was taken away and was back in five minutes - job done!

Has anybody recently had any luck with getting build dates? I ordered mine at the start of September and still haven't heard anything. I was told that the build date will be end of Jan, however this is now looking unlikely.

I got my build date as the ship pulled into dock with my vehicle on it. The build date was actually 2 weeks after it arrived in the UK
