Yeah 55% and pro rata mileage, mine was inspected yesterday and is being collected tomorrow, just been for my last blast out in it, shall miss it dearly! Cracking car.

BCA inspection was painless, no damage reported even though there was a few stone chips, he said it’s cheaper to leave it if you have dented panels etc quick video was done and he was gone, he said they get another inspection one at the site though.
Once it's out of your care, I'd refuse any 'additional' charges they find post inspection. If it's moved an inch once you'd handed it over, who's to say you caused the damage they find? That's what the initial inspection is for. Toyota tried this on before with me and were told to jog on.

Has anybody had issues with the built in SatNav and Apple Maps going way off course when running?

I could be driving down the motorway and then all of a sudden I'm driving through fields and rivers. It doesnt happen often, but its rather annoying, especially when in a city i dont know and need directions. If i disconnect and use my iPhone standalone the route is fine.

Does the headunit use its built in GPS for Apple Maps when connected to Carplay?
I've not had that specific problem but I have had a couple of software crashes that require the ignition to be switched off to reboot it which is a pain on the motorway. Sometimes refuses to connect to my phone via car play. Not too often thankfully. And the sat nav has the most bizarre accent I've ever heard. Also, despite the clock using GPS to update time and date it refused to update after clocks changed at the weekend. Had to change time zone and then change it back again.
Mine occaisionally crashes, but rather than switching off the ignition I just hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds and the system reboots.

My Cupra 300 DSG arrived this week and it's great. I was worried from the reviews that it would axle tramp and skip all over the place bit despite the heavy rain the car has been able to cope very well. Very refined and quiet in comfort mode, still driving it relatively carefully until I clear the 600mi/1000km but so far very impressed.

It's got a hell of a lot of distractions.. with the virtual cockpit and all the full link stuff it's taken me a while to work how it all works together but quite intuitive after a few attempts.

Very happy smile

I ordered an ST 300 DSG (lease) in the middle of January but still no build date yet. Was hoping to get one by end of June but this is looking very doubtful judging by some of the previous posts.

Also, I didn't put any options on the car. the Seat website is baffling as it is very difficult to work out exactly what you get as standard. Is it well specced?

i did the same thing but back in march last year - mine arrive in August.

re well specced, i went for a standard DSG, 4WD ST. its not bad, has climate, satnav, cruise control, LED headlights etc a standard.

If yours is a new build it will be better specced as i think they now come with the virtual cockpit which at the time wasnt an option with mine. looking back on it, it i had PCP'd the car rather than lease i would have added: sunroof, buckets, Kessy and winter pack.

My BE is due back October. Got a quote today for a year extension. £60 admin and monthly will go up £16 if I go ahead. So I’ll be paying £249 maintained. Then MOT at end before returning...

Best deal I’ve seen to replace is £289 1+23 but that’s dsg now. From img Warrington.

Not sure what to do... other option is to keep and run into an informal agreement... not sure if monthly’s stay the same as I’m paying now tho??

Besides the virtual cockpit is the 300 less specc’d than the 290 BE??

TIA

I've recently received the letter too. Mines due back in November.

I've asked for a price on a 12 month extension and what the arrangements are for an informal extension. Will report back once I have the details.

Also planning to get back in touch with Lookers to get a quote on another Cupra. Been keeping an eye on the main lease thread but not seen anything with the same bang for buck as the Cupra for a while...

This is the 290 spec vs 290 BE spec, you'll have to compare vs the current Leon Brochure

My 290 just went past 8000miles and I had to buy a third set of front tyres for it. I went for Michelin Pilot Sport 4, about £160/each, and first impressions are really good. Way more grip than the knackered continentals and I don't remember the car ever feeling this grippy when the contis were new. I thought about going for AD08R (have used them in the past on track cars) but the Leon will never see the track and I am starting to doubt that we will ever have any dry weather again, so I went for the Michelins as a good wet/dry compromise. They won the EVO tyre test and I would be happy to recommend them based on my experience so far. I just hope they last more than 4k miles of commuting . . . this car's appetite for tyres is astonishing!

Third set in 8000 miles! yikes

My 300 is on 7000 miles and still has 5mm of tread on the fronts!

Maybe he launch controls it out of every junction biggrin

4500 miles on my 300 and still have plenty of tread. Tend not to give it beans in first gear.

Glad it's not just me then!
May as well have got the 1.4 or 1.8 FR if I wanted to cruise gently in a Leon.
4-5k miles seems about the limit on the fronts if you drive it hard a high percentage of the time.

Turning the TC/SC off makes the car a lot quicker in the dry but at the cost of tyre wear.

I have never used launch control or turned TC off (tempted to try it now though!). I have an exige for Sunday morning blasts so all the Leon does is go home, nursery, school, work and then back again; about 10 miles a day in traffic. I suspect it's constant 0 - 60 - 0 and trying not to slow down for roundabouts that wears 'em out! Like someone said, if I wanted to spend ten seconds going from 0 to 30 I could have got a much slower cheaper car....

Update for anybody with creaking suspension: VW/Audi have issued a warranty notice to fix this due to inadequate grease on moving parts from factory.

Doesn't mean SEAT UK will do it under warranty, they will just claim they don't know what it is.

Except the dealership told me that it will be covered under warranty when my car developed the fault this week.

What the dealership tells you and what SEAT UK decide is a completely different thing though... I've been a SEAT owner for over 10 years lol.

Expect their to be a fight. happy days if it all goes through without questions though.

I've owned SEAT's for a good few years. Had plenty of warranty work covered; twice for rattles (and one was on a 4 year old Mk2 FR+ door card). Local dealership seem very good at pushing warranty work through.

Was it a creaking from the front at low speed maneuvering/pulling away? I've got that currently.
