The splitting of the white edges of the seat base is not unusual with the bucket seats in the 290 black edition. Take a look on seatcupra.net forums. Normally sorted out under warranty I believe.

anyone taken their cupra to Europe, planning on doing a roadtrip over xmas - whats the deal with headlight adjustment etc?
In the golf r its in setting - you adjust the LED lights to the other side.

No need for stickers.

I can't find the leasing handbook I was sent at the start of my lease direct with VWFS. How many millimetres of tread do the tyres need to have on the return to VWFS?

Thanks

They need to be of legal tread depth. Ours went back a couple of weeks ago, the NS front had just dipped under 1.6mm in some places and the OS was in low 2mms so I stuck a part-worn on the NS and nothing was noted on the inspection.

Out of interest what tyre pressures do you use?
I feel like the weather getting colder they should be lower?

For those who got the Cupra 290 deal recently (as I did) the 2019 model spec is now on the configurator with the bronze badges etc:

The all-new Leon coming in 2019 will spawn a Cupra version and that will wear Cupra badging. But for now it’s a halfway house.

Had my 1st service done yesterday on my 300, cost me £169, delayed it 3-4 weeks. Told them to swap fronts to back so now got 6mm on fronts and 4mm on rears, barring a puncture shouldn't need to change tyres within the next 12 month's when it is due back and will also avoid 2nd service as well. I've only done 5k miles in a year so higher milage leasers might need need to invest in some tyres for info.

The gold clashes on the red and the blue. Looks best on silver.

I've ordered a red one, if the badges look particularly bad I'll just plasti-dip/wrap them grey or silver hehe

The most annoying thing for me is that they've changed the calipers to black. The red calipers was one thing that made it stand out from an FR, which the car is perilously close to looking identical to.

I have one in Magnetic Grey on order but no build date as yet. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the Copper badging and Black callipers.

Same here, have 5dr hatch Cupra 300 DSG and thinking of Leon Cupra Estate and Ateca Cupra next, but will depends on the price. Still too early to order a new car.

Exactly the same as me, estate seems quite a bit more expensive than the hatch and I think the ateca will be too expensive with its price tag. So might be another 5dr hatch for me.

I really like mine, but its a manual so would love to swap it for a DSG and also get virtual cockpit.

The Golf R never appealed to me but would like to get another hot hatch

First time back in this thread since it started. My 290BE goes back today. I said I wasnt going to bother with another lease but a good deal on a 4wd ST has caught my eye.

A few questions for those who've ordered recently.
What sort of lead time are we looking at currently?
Does the car come with virtual cockpit as standard now?

Current car is a 290 dsg and my only dislike has been the terrible wheel hop. Car before that was a manual mk7 R and I thought the engine and 4wd were a great match let down by the manual box. So I figure a 300 ST 4drive DSG will be me finally getting it right.

Do you mind sharing the deal ?
