I've just FTK'd on a Cupra Lux from leasing options on a 3+23 10k p/a £284.26 for anyone on the market for one. Estimated delivery mid May.
I was initially quoted £271.79 on the same term and mileage but creeped up slightly due to me wasting time.
Not sure if this deal is still available, but worth ringing them up.

I'm now very tempted by one of these (ST), I've not leased before unless counting Motability so more research to do first. I no longer use Motability as it makes more sense financially for me to pocket my PIP and pay for a car, including maintenance, insurance and depreciation - bought my current car with a personal loan the idea was to px when the time comes I can buy something at the same price or more with a smaller loan - perhaps leasing would make more sense, looking at an £1800 a year saving based on a similar quote.
In the market for a replacement for my C-Class and I'm struggling to find anything newer that I actually like looks/interior of, besides the Golf R and this - I've not yet seen anything available used (mostly Carbon eds. right now) that definitely has the electric drivers seat or with the Lux pack, which is essential for me.

My Cupra goes back next week.
For those who have returned, how much fuel did you leave in the tank? I cant find any mention in the paperwork and i dont think i got a full tank when i collected.
Enough to get to a petrol station. I left under 1/4 of a tank when my golf went back. I think the range was about 50 miles. For those who have returned, how much fuel did you leave in the tank? I cant find any mention in the paperwork and i dont think i got a full tank when i collected.
I like that these Cupras looks so normal and understated - they look just like a bog standard model, and I mean that as a compliment! Very under the radar, and I imagine an effective theft deterrent compared to something with more visual drama like a Golf R etc (which always seem to get stolen).

Don’t know, mine isn’t the Lux. At a guess it’ll be under the climate buttons, in front of the gear lever. There’s a phone sized recess on mine there.
Thinking of getting one due to the deals at the moment coming from a golf R.How are you finding it generally?
Also the cockpit display looks small from the pictures, how is it when driving etc?
Lastly is the infotainment system any good, laggy/smooth, works well?
Do you mind sharing the deal you got?

Generally, loving it. Don’t like the bronze badges. How are you finding it generally?

Display is fine, I only ever have it in the Cupra mode and that’s fine for me.
Infotainment is good, as laggy as any system within VW Group. I use CarPlay most of the time anyway.
I got the 1+23 deal, 10k miles, £300/m from Seat Stockport.

Have you thought about getting a res delete? You can put it back to stock before handing it back, meant to transform the sound two fold Display is fine, I only ever have it in the Cupra mode and that’s fine for me.

Last question! Whats the sound system like?
Anyone that’s worried they will be short changed coming from a golf r to a cupra..... don’t be !!
What a nice bit of kit, every bit as quick once moving but as mentioned it’s pretty quiet, only thing I’d say is it moves about a bit compared to the r when you go for it I find myself correcting the steering constantly, I’ll check tyre pressures are right , but yeah enjoying it

Took delivery of my 290 DSG last month. Just ticked over the first 1000 miles and really enjoying it. Previously had a leased Polo GTI which I loved but needed something with 5 doors due to 2 children arriving since I got it.
Got a deal with Nationwide - 9+23 at £232pm for 12,500 miles pa
Pros:
- Previously only had manual or CVT cars so was nervous about getting an auto but the DSG is great in car that is driven daily.
- Adaptable drive modes are great, although I've found suspension is best if its left in comfort as the roads around me are awful.
- Sounds good in my opinion. The exhaust is plenty loud enough for me when in 'cupra' but is also nice and stealthy in 'Comfort' for early morning departures etc.
- Digital dashboard and Apple carplay are also great
- interior is pretty good with lots of nice materials, feels very VW and certainly not like a cheap relative
- nobody has a clue what it is, which I think is a bonus
Downsides:
- auto upshift when in manual is irritating, but its not a track car so I can live with it.
- rear visibility is awful due to the combination of small rear windscreen and thick pillars. Luckily the parking sensors seem quite good
- stereo seems to be lacking in 'bass' unless turned up really loud. I need to play with he EQ settings, has anyone got a guide / good starting point?
- not sure about the bronze badges...….
- glovebox is tiny!
