Sub 8 is not included unfortunately so no side skirts
I thought it was?

Here's what brochure says FR trim + Cupra trim + Cupra 290 Black trim.

The Cupra black trim says it includes the optional Sub8 pack

Cheers for the interior pics.

Have to say the quoted photo looks like something out of Need For Speed when I used to play it on the PS3 - looks great.

Also that pic of the dash display is very nice - fits with the Cupra image. Looks way better than the Golf R dash display, especially those fuel/temp gauges.

Hi All,

Just a heads up... I was speaking with Jason at Stoneacre Seat in Peterborough where I ordered my motor. He's asked me to pass on that he still has 5 Cupra Blacks available.

He ordered additional units before the cut off in mid-September. They are 5 units still available and they are 5dr Manual Cupra 290 Black Editions. They are due to arrive mid-November.

As a heads up my deal was £249.00 per month (1 + 23) inc VAT for a 5dr Manual on 10K miles per year. My price included metallic paint (I went for Dynamic Grey).

On the paperwork, the initial rental will show a higher rental figure but you will be given a dealer contribution in the form of a cheque before the initial rental comes out of your bank, hence it works out at £249.00 for the first rental. Hope that makes sense?

Looking at that last pic it's gone over 100 miles now, doesn't seem that bad on Fuel, put 30 litres of V Power in as it says it should run on 98 or a over Ron

'Sport information' - love it. laugh

Apologies for asking questions, but seeing as you're the first to pick one up, what's the sat nav like? Is traffic information pretty accurate and what's the nav interface like? Have you got the standard nav or pro?

No problem, mine is standard and seems the same as my Audi, the talking lady is the same too, traffic is better than the Audi, it told me about the hold up on the motorway verbally without the navigation being set, the old one did this and I did like this feature so glad it's remained

Sound is quite good for a stock system too, not really turned it up yet.

In Cupra mode the gear change "fart" is quite loud, flick it to mannual and accelerate to 4k and let off the exhaust sounds awesome, lots of popping.

This thread already has more photos than the whole of seatcupra.net. Cheers for posting them.

Good to hear that the exhaust makes a bit of noise on the over run. The new, noisier exhaust was one of my reasons for favouring the cupra over another R. At my age I really should be factorIng that into a car purchase but bugger it.

Chatting to a local dealer today and they told me the order book will remain closed for all Cupra's until late 2017 when they expect the facelift Cupra to arrive frown

If you want one, it seems like your only hope rests with dealers who have stock orders already in the system. My guess is there won't be many. The dealer I spoke to has a few of various specifications (hatch, ST, manual and DSG) and with various options. Don't ask me which dealer because I'm not saying until I decide on whether to order one wink

Just had a conversation with the missus, she hates the silver I've ordered and wants alor. Anybody have any experience with changing the colour after an order has been placed? Car isn't due to be built until the 24th.
I've seen Alor in the flesh. I was all set on it until I saw it. It looks very bright and feminine IMO. I went for silver in the end.

It seems that quite a few dealers have ordered extra cars before the cut off date knowing that they'll be able to shift them at these prices's.
