Can someone outline the spec difference between the Cupra and the Cupra Black - thanks.
Also any photos of the bucket seats against the regular ones?
Thanks
David
Sorted this via the online brochures:Also any photos of the bucket seats against the regular ones?
Thanks
David
- Bucket seat (heated)
- 19" multispoke wheels
- "Black" styling kit
Are the buckets as wide as the regular seat?

The bucket seat were the thing that swayed me to the Cupra over another Golf R. I have very few complaints about my Golf R but the seats are top of the list. They are utter gash for a car with that performance. Slightly too wide and soft as ste so when you do lean on the bolsters they just give up. I have to say the seats in the standard Cupra look very similar to the crappy ones in the Golf.

As a fellow Golf R driver (2 months left on my cheapo lease), I wholly agree - the bolsters are rubbish and the right hand side of the drivers side has almost collapsed. They are a bit of foam with a wire through the middle - next to no support given when pressing on.

Just checked my emails and I sent the signed order confirmation to them and paid the admin fee on the 6th. The email i received on the 8th was an invoice for the admin fee and confirmation that payment had been made. This email and the attached PDF does has a "Your order has been placed with the dealership" statement.
I'm not that concerned. When I ordered my Golf i signed the order, paid my admin fee then basically didn't hear a thing from the company for 5 months. Everyone on the Golf forum had an online tracking number so could see their cars progressing through build. When I asked my supplier for one they just said they wouldn't supply the tracking number. That was a hell of a long wait as i was driving a crumbling old Citroen Picasso that had only cost £900 while I waited. At least this time i'll suffer the wait in a nice car.

I wouldn't worry, I've not heard from the dealer since I was there Thursday, last email just says basically it has been ordered.
With all my company cars I used to get a weekly automated update with progress and stage, I don't expect that from a dealer system but you boys might get that going through a lease company.

First Vehicle Leasing seem to be offering good deals on the Cupra Black still, the standard Cupra is also available for a few quid more monthly. These are hatch only though , the ST Cupras are a fair bit more.
Had I known this before going with CVL I might have gone for the standard Cupra as I prefer the alloys to the 'Black' wheels.

CVL still have the deal on the non DSG model one too, must have got rid of the allocation of DSG's Had I known this before going with CVL I might have gone for the standard Cupra as I prefer the alloys to the 'Black' wheels.

I dont like the cupra wheels, it was the balck wheels that really persuaded me this was the opne to go for, i was hesitant on the normal Cupra about 6 weeks ago, same price pretty much as this deal, so glad i never committed.
Not sure about you lot but i keep looking at the leasing deals now, worried for the next 2 years a better deal will come out

VAG seem to be really going at it with their lease deals at present for whatever reason (possibly to support volume and avoid any negative 'vw lose volume after scandal' stories?) so I would be very surprised if the deals could get any better.
