Shortest thread ever....
Just found a topic via a google on a forum called AudiSport relating to this. Answer from Audi UK is that the headlamps are not handed left or right so no adjustment is available or necessary.
Would be handy if they could note that in the manual!
So in the UK the headlights do not give the usual 'kick-up' beam pattern on the nearside?Just found a topic via a google on a forum called AudiSport relating to this. Answer from Audi UK is that the headlamps are not handed left or right so no adjustment is available or necessary.

It's known as a Z pattern (horizontal each side of a little kick up in the beam) and is pretty much common on all LED and Xenon lamps.
Technically the lamps are legal in the UK and Europe because the beam doesn't glare the wrong side of the road (allegedly) however in our A4 (2013) the meter has the option for continental driving where it lowers the whole beams by some margin to eliminate glare, does yours have that?

There's nothing in the books, nothing on the lamps themselves and nothing in the MMI. Our B8 has the option that trims the beam by moving a flap electrically (they're steerable xenons)
The S8 doesn't (has regular non-steering bi-xenons) and is also claimed to have a sufficiently flat beam pattern to be legal without modification overseas.
You'd probably find if you took it for an MOT overseas it would fail - but since you won't be doing that you're covered if the design is intended to be non-dazzling.
No MMI option = no problem, I suspect
