Same for me, live chat was w/c 5th tracker now showing 28/11.
It's probably been covered on here before but to save me scrolling back, I ordered through NVS and the car is going to VW in Newcastle, will they deliver to me or is it my job to collect? Are there costs involved? (I'm in Derbyshire)
Depends on what was stated in your contract when you signed up in terms of delivery costs. Mine is with CVL and is free delivery. I would imagine yours will also be free as most are, but double check with NVL to be certain. I'm in Derbyshire also but mine is going to Cardiff VW.

i'm build week 48 too 28/11.
I'm hoping the new facelift gti doesn't come with a power increase...but then again, it probably wont be available at the dirt cheap prices either. fingers crossed
It's a shame that VW don't offer the performance pack upgrade as a dealer fit option, without the diff. I'm sure it's just a map tweak and a freeer flowing air filter for the power gains.I'm hoping the new facelift gti doesn't come with a power increase...but then again, it probably wont be available at the dirt cheap prices either. fingers crossed
For those who are curious about the facelift model coming up,

Pending the press release there's nothing in autocars review that puts me off the current one. The virtual dash would be nice but as it's most likely to be an option I'd stick with the standard dials.

Just a heads up to everyone awaiting their documents from VWFS.
I just got mine through from the dealer and they have listed my excess mileage rate as 9 ppm (plus VAT).
I was one of the lucky ones to get in before the price increase, so was expecting it to be 6 ppm (plus VAT). I'm currently trying to sort this out so will keep you posted how I get on.
If anyone is expecting theirs to be the lower rate just make sure it is before you sign anything!
Nice heads up. I am also on the lower rate mileage. I just got mine through from the dealer and they have listed my excess mileage rate as 9 ppm (plus VAT).

Just got my paperwork through as well and it also states the 9p + VAT mileage rate even though I was quoted 6p + VAT. The other thing is the initial deposit and cashback amount are also different even though the total deposit works out the same. I've put the queries back to CVL so will see what they come back with but read the paperwork carefully!!
Let us know what CVL say, I have a feeling mine will be the same.ruggerz said:
My excess mileage saga is not progressing well...
I'm still digging my heels in, and CVL are doing what they can but VWFS don't seem to be budging.
The crux of the matter is that my application was approved on the 3rd (pre-increase), my order was sent on the 4th (the day of the increase), although VW have honoured the original pricing they are not honouring the original excess.
This isn't the introduction to leasing that I was hoping for, and not really sure what my options are (if any). I don't really want to reject the car over this, but my contract is 5k per annum and I will easily be doing 10k per year so it makes a big difference. I'd worked it all out to be better value taking the lower contracted mileage and paying the excess rather than having a higher mileage from the outset (plus its more flexible if my circumstances change).
That's not great news. I think I'll be cancelling my order if the excess is not honoured. My reasons for the lease were much the same as yours, including the extra 3k or so mileage with it working out better under the 7.2p excess. I realise I'll loose the handling fee plus a months rental at this stage.I'm still digging my heels in, and CVL are doing what they can but VWFS don't seem to be budging.

I hope mine is different but time will tell.
