VW warranty Issue
Discussion
I have recently purchased a VW Polo from my local garage brand new, 66 plate, included was one years free insurance anyway the heater has broken, we'll never worked and it going in for a week to be repaired, VW would not insure me on their dealer insurance as I am too young and apparently neither will my insurance (which is through vw!) for a courtesy car? So apparently I'm old enough to buy a car from them but not old enough to be insured should my BRAND NEW car be faulty. Anyone got any suggestions to getting a rocket up the a***s of the dealer because this is unbelievable tbh

unfortunately is the norm in insurance, I had to be over 25 before my own insurance policy would cover other vehicles and over 21 before I could hire a carYou don't say how old you are but this is fairly common place for dealers. My son at just turned 18 bought a brand new Fiesta ST and the dealer wouldn't insure him on a 1.0 ecoboost as they said he was too young for their insurance. He had to swallow it and pay for insurance for a courtesy car.
