simonwhite2000, you were with me being one of the first to jump on the V4B 3+23 deal, have you heard anything back from them other than the initial sign of paperwork?

I'm reading this thread and talk of finance company's and Audi build dates, and I've heard nothing.

I'm not wanting it till the end of March anyway, but was just curious if you'd any more info through?

I just spoke to Tom at V4B then mate before seeing this!

My order was logged as soon as I sent the paperwork out. The Audi dealership will share order references early january (he did say he could get it now but they wont really start moving through the order stages till early Jan - it will just show as order with factory). I asked about the private plate process and if I could pay for options upfront with the dealer (you can).
Some leasing companies I have gone through give a bi-weekly update just reconfirming the build week etc but V4B dont seem to be that organised (neither were Fleet Prices I have dealt with).

I plan to call him back mid Dec and make sure everything is on track still and re-confirm the private plate process before delivery mid Feb. Also want to make sure the dealer is fully aware not to wash or clean the vehicle under any circumstances.
Cheers for the update, when I called him a month or so ago he confirmed everything was ok, but never really gave an idea or a timeline as to whats next.

Just need to sit back then, it's going to be a long winter!
Similar for me really. It was the same with my previous lease through a different broker though so I haven't given it much thought.

I know there's an Audi dealer somewhere dealing with my car, but only because V4B contacted them to see if it was ok to add the VC to my order when I changed my mind, so I know it's ordered at least!

That's a very good price including the options that you added. Would have thought it would set you back more over the 2 years. Your options are around 1400 and its just over 1k that you are paying on the lease. Did you negotiate with fleetsauce? Congrats on the order, just the waiting game now...

i think the red leather and black will be a great combo. Good deal you got there for sure - i took navarra blue metallic, folding mirrors, virtual cockpit, flat wheel, extended led pack for 399 a month on a 9+23 so you got a better deal than me. im still happy though! Im still having a nagging thought on B & O sound but must resist

Another Fleetsauce customer here..

Looks like the deals are all pretty much of a muchness total cost wise.

My final spec/ add. Options were Navarra Blue (I went for the Rotor grey leather after much deliberation), B&O, Virtual Cockpit, flat btm wheel, folding mirrors, hill hold and privacy glass smile

Figures are £2825 down 23 x £440 month on 10k miles. No fee.

Order form lists VWFS as the credit provider and end March delivery to dealer (at present..)

Hopefully it will arrive a bit earlier as my current car is 3 years old March 31st and I'd like to avoid getting it MOT'd before moving it on.

I'm interested to see it in the flesh as it seems smaller than expected in the videos I've watched online. I had one of the first V8 S5 coupes and I remember it feeling pretty big (and nose heavy). Used to an A7 now so it'll certainly feel a bit smaller than that I guess, hopefully it will be as comfortable, the 7 is a great place to be for long journeys.

As an aside, I have a twin channel tuning box fitted to the A7 (it's the Bitdi). I know you can reprogram them but does anyone know if you can move them between diesels to petrol (via a reprogram)? idea

Forgot to mention its the Sportback I've gone for, not the coupe (pesky kids)..

I think I would go down the vinyl wrap route rather than spraying, but just to confirm that plasti-dip whilst being a spray is fully removable, when you want to remove it it's a matter of peeling it off as it's a rubberised paint. I've watched a handful of demonstration videos - actually looks like really clever stuff.
Ah ok - I didn't know that. I'll have to check that out. Is it more expensive than wrapping?

I guess it all depends if you do it yourself or get someone else to. I don't think I be confident enough to do it myself although the spraying side of things looks relatively easy and definitely peels off if you don't like it so not really too much harm. The spray cans are about £15 each. You should just need a couple I would have thought. The standard finish is Matt, but they also do a gloss overspray. It certainly cheap enough to give it a go. I would just be worried about the finish quality, hence thinking about going down the gloss wrap route.

Just been looking on the Audi website and rather annoyingly you can get a black styling pack for the new Audi S4 but, as we know, not the new S5.

I actually think the A4 headlamps are more agressive and with the black styling pack added it looks very nice. Given there are cheap lease deals on the S4's now part of me is tempted to switch over to an S4 avant in black with the black styling kit. Hmmmmmmmm

If you are going to swap I'd try to do it asap as I know said you were using V4B for the S5 and there's a hefty cancellation clause in their contracts, once past the obligatory cooling off period.

How did you get away with no fee? Is that with everyone with fleet sauce, not paying a fee?

It's £180 plus VAT with Fleetsauce although for me they matched the CVL fee of £180 inc VAT

No fee at all here, however we discussed them quoting to supply some of our work vans, so they waived the fee and increased their contribution (or reduced their margins a bit) to make the deal as attractive as possible.

Anyhow, was happy with the figures and just the wait till end March now.

Yep, blue coupe in Navarre blue with virtual cockpit. Order placed on 27th October. Last week it was showing an expected construction date of 27th January, checked yesterday and that had moved forward to 5th December (so probably mid January delivery to dealership). I did tell the dealer that I wanted it at the end of March when I placed the order (existing car not going back until early April) and he was fine with that at the time.

I take it that the dealer (or broker in my case) will issue you the Audi build code if requested to track then, as its not listed on my order confirmation form?
