Red leather looks nice. Thanks for the pics mate smile
No worries. My own personal view was it might look a bit tacky but definately proven wrong now ive seen it. It is VERY red (if that makes sense!) but looks fantastic and very cool.
Remains to be seen how it looks with blue paintwork.

I'll be finding out in March (or April going by what others are saying.)

Update - After back and forth with Audi and V4B there is now a satisfactory resolution in place so I can take delivery of the S5 I had originally ordered.
Would still prefer Daytona Grey over Nav Blue but given lead times are now 5 months it was going to be a long wait to re-order for a colour change. The privacy glass situation has been sorted so happy to go ahead.
The S5 is getting dropped off to me on Friday 23rd Dec!!!
Glad to hear it's sorted.

Only a week and a half until delivery too!

For those who have Nav Blue coming I have seen it now with Rotor Grey and Black leather - Rotor Grey looks much better.
Not as good as red will look though.

Overall I am very happy with the car. I thought I would want to change the chrome to matte black but now, after seeing it in the flesh, I will be keeping the chrome.
Good to hear you like the chrome now you've seen it 'in the flesh'.

My 'youraudi' tracker has just updated from saying the 1st may to 13th February. Has anyone else's just updated?
Nope, mine has been showing 20th Feb for since end of Nov and not shifted. Ordered 01/11.
Similar to mine.

Ordered 26/10 and it's been showing 20th Feb to start building ever since it first appeared on the tracker.

Mine is still showing 20th Feb to start production.

If there was an issue looming, I would have hoped those of us due to receive our cars the first would have been told before people whose delivery date was already far later.

Oddly enough I ordered from V4B and mine IS coming from Audi Sheffield! I am probably going to go pick it up as I am near Scarborough, or they may run it through York or Hull if I ask nicely since they are all JCT600. I asked V4B for the number and they got it from the dealer. Mine is £11544 over 2 years inc flat bottomed wheel and virtual cockpit so around £11200 for a standard car. Fleet sauce were very similar in price.
As I think I said earlier in this thread (or maybe in the lease deals thread) V4B and Fleetsauce are possibly one and the same. They share the same address, etc.

Edit: at least 2 directors of V4B are also listed as Fleetsauce directors, too.

Ditto. Order date = 28th October
Mine was ordered 26th October.

I've got around 3,000 miles left before my current lease car needs servicing so fingers are crossed.

The hatchback boot is of more appeal to me than the doors to be honest!
Same for me.

It's driven me nuts having a 3-series saloon and not being able to just chuck stuff in the boot when necessary. I'm looking forward to the practicality of the Sportback.

I added an option to my order last week and the build slot has not changed (Still the 20th of Feb)
What was it out of interest? And if it was before 20th of Jan it might be that they get locked a month before build, I'm sure I read that was the case somewhere?
Yes, when I was speaking to the fleet department earlier today they said the build date gets locked 4 weeks before that date. so any that show feb 20th as construction should be locked in now with delivery commencing 20th march..
Thanks - hope it works out that way!

Mine is 20th Feb build slot and delivery in March would be very welcome as I will need to service my current lease car again if it goes much further than that.

To give an indication of current lead times, I ordered sport back on Saturday, I have been told a build week of 18 ( w/c 1st may) meaning delivery "late May/early June"

At what point do I get a number to track it on 'your audi' . Dealer Sid only when it enters production but that doesn't sound right a loss of people on here can track the build dates.
You should be able to get the order number from the dealer now and enter it on the 'Your Audi' site to get the tracking info. It might not have a build date yet but you should still be able to see the order details.

Wish mine was Sheffield. Closest dealer by a distance. I had a test drive with them and really nice and friendly. They were no where near with price though, about £4k more expensive than my CVL deal over two years. Shame i couldn't price match one of your Audi Sheffield deals and seeing if they can match it.
I can't say for sure but I don't think any of us have gone directly through Sheffield Audi. We all seem to be V4B/Fleetsauce customers.

So who is first to get a Sportback?

My build is, and always has been, 20th Feb. I imagine locked in now.

Anyone else got 20th Feb? Anyone sooner?
I'm the 20th of Feb too (Ordered 28th October) and I'm pretty sure it's the first build slots for the Sportback...
Mine is 20th Feb and has been that date since it went on the tracker. Mine was ordered 26th October.

Yeah not long to wait now mate and then they'll start to build our cars smile

Hopefully we get them before the end of March too...
I'm hoping so! Really don't want to have to service my current lease BMW again.

Must be a diesel thing as already said frown
Yep. If was standard on a couple of diesels I've had.

They're usually a ceramic-electric element in the heating/ventilation system and they're used because diesels warm up much more slowly than petrols.

Mythos Black

Standard Delivery: £0.00 (excl. VAT)
Followed by 35 rentals of: £465.83 (excl. VAT)

So, shorter delivery time and higher spec for much the same price!!....result.
Needless to say I cancelled Nationwide and ordered direct from Audi. It is being built this week. Always worth talking to the dealer first it seems.
Looks like you got lucky with that spec' from the dealer, given what you'd previously ordered. Very nice.

Agree it's always worth asking your dealer - although I asked several and they couldn't touch the broker price I had.

Yes, heard similar story from my Audi dealer. More flared arches, aggressive front grille & spoiler, two huge tailpipes us usual. Also, and interestingly they will still use the same V6 TFSI engine as the S5 albeit tuned up a lot. If that is the case then there is a lot of tuning scope for S5 owners!
I was expecting that the RS will go to twin turbos?

Still waiting for mine (Sportback though) delivered in about 4 weeks time. Love to hear your thoughts good and bad. I have a feeling that when you have an S5 every sod will want to race you.....particularly the bimmer drivers.
You said you ordered it 'a few weeks ago' but you're expecting it in about 4 weeks?
