It seems to vary hugely.

This is my cancelled order. Started building it on 16/2 and it's at the UK port now.

Order status "40" sounds like its been delivered to your dealer , isn't it?

Ive been status 24 for over 2 weeks

I ordered mine two weeks ago.

Navarra Blue, Black interior, Flat bottom steering wheel, Privacy Glass, electronically folding mirrors, rear view camera, light and vision pack ( includes matrix lights, internal LED package and Virtual Cockpit)

Build week is the W/C 19th June.


Been reading up on the car an If it wasn't for all the advice on here, I likely wouldn't have ordered.

Only thing I am not sure about on the car is the chrome grill . There seems to be a lot of chrome on the front end. Audi didn't do a black package for the S5 (yet). Has anybody replaced the the grill to a black one yet. Can you post pics please.

Cannot wait for it to arrive now, dealer said expect delivery sometime at the end of July - I might just wait for 67 before taking delivery

Pretty much what I ordered plus B and O system.

Like you, I really dislike the chrome grill and would look to replace it or wrap it black.

There is a picture of a Navarra blue with black pack here - must have been ordered in Ireland or something as as you say, black pack nor available in this country yet.

Personally I don't think it works well with Navarra blue

Pretty much what I ordered plus B and O system.

Like you, I really dislike the chrome grill and would look to replace it or wrap it black.

I thought about the B&O system but as good as it might be couldn't justify the extra £750 cost. Been thinking I should get the pan roof. But £1250 seems high.

I've checked on eBay/ internet and there is still no black grill. Saying that, the new RS5 grill is stunning - maybe the way to go if it fits

Personally think that car has been ruined with the black wheels, that's been been completely de chromed. I would just want a gloss black grill or even the new RS 5 grill with the chrome surround and the black Quattro lettering

What you guys think?

Wow that dechromed car looks awful IMO.It just doesnt suit it at all.

A black grille with silver surround would look good though.

I ordered an S5 with G2L a week last Friday. The finance has been agreed but I still don't have an order agreed.

I'm new to leasing. Does it really take more than a week to secure an order? I'm worried that I'm going to miss out on the deal.

Yes but I dont think a total dechrome looks good (such as the Audi badge etc)

Total de-chrome does look a bit naff on the Navarra blue......on white or black it may look much better though. Much prefer the RS5 grille in any event.

I had my finance agreed and order placed on the 6th April - but I haven't got an order number yet, although I have requested one. This is through Central.

They've told me there is/was a delay in the S5 builds, mine is scheduled for delivery in September, but personally I think they're just ensuring future orders more than anything.

My order was placed 22nd march, i don't have an Audi order number, just a number from broker (FS). I haven't asked for the Audi number to track the build because i don't want to be disappointed when it's delayed, I'll probably cancel if its 28 days later than the early June delivery estimate.

I ordered mine on the 21st march with an Audi dealership direct and my build is going to be W/C 19.06.17 with delivery expected end of July!

I ordered 28th March and it's due to be built in the first week of May, delivery June.
