I ordered 28th March and it's due to be built in the first week of May, delivery June.
Thanks for the replies. It seems like most people had their orders confirmed pretty quickly.

G2L have got back to me today to confirm my order - a week and a half after my application. Looking at a September delivery. No Audi order reference as yet

General q. About leasing. I see we aren't the registered keeper so I was wondering what happens with parking tickets (cctv) and speeding for example. I say this as I did 50 in a spec zone thinking it was 40. The car is so refined I need to keep checking speed smile
I assume the lease co pass it on? But sometimes you only have 10 days to take cheaper option on tickets for example.

Any ideas? Thanks

So I have received the paperwork to complete and have the Reg number etc (should have been registered today) so I assume I will have the car in the next couple of weeks.

Also just put my A4 up for sale on the classifieds!

Is this a good 2 year lease deal?

2 Year Contract Hire
10,000 Miles per annum
Payment options

£500 Fee

500 + 9 + 23 -
£358.80
Inc VAT
500 + 6 + 23 -
£399.52
Inc VAT
500 + 3 + 23 -
£446.40
Inc VAT

12.98 pence per mile plus VAT, is the excess mileage charge for this car.

Audi direct will beat that quote. Phone Carlisle and ask for Michael Seggie. They were also £1400 cheaper than Glasgow Audi...

I managed to get a deal (confirmed today) for 9+23 at £347 inc VAT. Broker fee was £180 inc VAT.

I've been told that Audi have now pulled the deal.

Thanks I should have searched for it first. Yes I can see why they do that to an extent. As long as they don't pay disputed PPTs! Not that I have had any before smile

It seems to vary hugely.

This is my cancelled order. Started building it on 16/2 and it's at the UK port now.

Order status "40" sounds like its been delivered to your dealer , isn't it?
Delivery to dealer is "70"

It's actually now gone to 70 in the last few hours.

So there we go...

9 weeks from commencing build to arriving at dealer and a total of 25 weeks from the date the order was placed.

G2L. Though I don't think it's available anymore. Select Car and Go Green were doing similar deals.

I ordered mine on the 21st march with an Audi dealership direct and my build is going to be W/C 19.06.17 with delivery expected end of July!
So I have my tracking number now, order shown as 5th April. But there has been no status change since then, so I have no build date.

Can dealers stipulate when orders should be processed, or put lower priorities on some? I realise we're unlikely to know that without a dealer chipping in, but I'd have thought like for like orders would follow similar timeframes.

With mine being at status 40 now, how can I tell which port it's at? Can't see anything on the dashboard that might give an indication, it just shows as "your Audi has arrived in the UK".

Had mine a week now, no complaints, love it.

It's actually really practical also (Sportback), which is a pleasant surprise, got the family in it over the weekend with a full boot, no problem, no complaints of leg room/poor visibility etc.

It can be a quiet cruiser when you want it to be, but stick the exhaust in dynamic and give it a blast and you've got heads turning.

Speaking of which, has anyone else been getting a fair bit of attention?

Parked the car at the weekend on Sauchiehall St in Glasgow and as we got out the car my wife was getting annoyed at the number of people staring, my son had to point out that it was the car, not her. Popped out to stick more money in the meter and there was a guy taking a picture on his phone! (no, not the traffic warden).

Had a couple of thumbs up too, one as recently as 20 mins ago, coming out the Petrol station, although I've just had it detailed today and it's gleaming!

Feel like a gold Veyron driving Arab laugh I'm sure, in time, as they get more common and my car gets dirtier it will fade, like my looksbiggrin

Yeah, the thumbs the one in the middle, right? Lots of horns of approval too, one guy wanted to invite me for a coffee as he was signalling shaking coffee beans at me, shouting "WATACAR!" hehe
