So I have my tracking number now, order shown as 5th April. But there has been no status change since then, so I have no build date.

Can dealers stipulate when orders should be processed, or put lower priorities on some? I realise we're unlikely to know that without a dealer chipping in, but I'd have thought like for like orders would follow similar timeframes.
I'd imagine it's that different dealers have different allocations meaning if you go to dealer that has remaining allocation then you may get it sooner?

Just a guess though

Had mine a week now, no complaints, love it.

It's actually really practical also (Sportback), which is a pleasant surprise, got the family in it over the weekend with a full boot, no problem, no complaints of leg room/poor visibility etc.

It can be a quiet cruiser when you want it to be, but stick the exhaust in dynamic and give it a blast and you've got heads turning.

Speaking of which, has anyone else been getting a fair bit of attention?

Parked the car at the weekend on Sauchiehall St in Glasgow and as we got out the car my wife was getting annoyed at the number of people staring, my son had to point out that it was the car, not her. Popped out to stick more money in the meter and there was a guy taking a picture on his phone! (no, not the traffic warden).

Had a couple of thumbs up too, one as recently as 20 mins ago, coming out the Petrol station, although I've just had it detailed today and it's gleaming!

Feel like a gold Veyron driving Arab laugh I'm sure, in time, as they get more common and my car gets dirtier it will fade, like my looksbiggrin
Yeah, sportbacks do get some attention. It's a great looking car. A bit more common where I live though (near Audi UK HO). The downer is the the disappointed look on that busty blonds face when you get out though. getmecoat

Have I missed out on these? Have contacted a few companies and been told either they can not find any build slots or that I have to pay fee's etc before they look for one. Trying to find a S5 Coupe under £400 so if anyone could assist would be very much appreciated.

Found these easily;

More likely to find a SB than a coupe at the lower price end. Might be better to look at the S4 saloon and add the 19 inch rims.

Take these quotes to a dealer and see if they will match. Ask for the fleet department.

I was told earlier this week that the current discount had been pulled by Audi. One broker I talked to thought that it may only be temporary due to current allocation/supply issues. So it may just be an issue of waiting a few weeks - or picking up a cancellation.

Thanks for the response, motorlet are actually one of the companies I was referring to in my previous post & I only want the S5 Coupe, not keen on the S4/SB. Also I contacted CVL a few days ago but have had no response as of yet. I will call Audi fleet department direct and see if I get any luck that way

Does anyone have a Brilliant Black with Grey interior delivered? I am desperate to see real life photos internally and externally to allow me to decide if I have made the right choice! Any help would be appreciated.

I received my order docs and it shows the supplier as Chesterfield Fleet Centre, JCT600. A bit of googling suggests that this closed last year frown

Anyone else have docs showing JCT600 Chesterfield (and more importantly it's postcode smile )

Asking about any cancellations is a good idea (been a few on here after all). Narrows your choice of options though.

I have and some pics are in the link provided by IJB1959.

I love the interior and black does look great just not great for close ups, clean it and it looks dirty straight away.

I didn't go for privacy glass however the rear windows seem to be a darker shade than than the front windows so I'm happy. Tinted glass all round anyway.

Yes It's a struggle to keep black clean. There seems to be a lot of dust washed down with the rain at the moment, plus the fact it's the time of year for lots of white bird crap.

Stupid question, but haven't been able to find a definitive answer.
Is it possible to fit a small dog (cockapoo) in the boot of the sportback with the parcel shelf removed?

Ok... trying hard not to laugh (!). What dog WOULDN'T fit in a 480 litre boot? Digby?!

Snap! Regretting taking too long to decide if I wanted to spend the money on Misano Red already!

I've been wondering the same thing. Coincidentally, we have a cockapoo as well, plus a springerdoodle (not a fan of either name... they're generally 'the dogs' or 'the bd dogs').

I asked an Audi sales guy whether the rear shelf could be removed so I could get two dogs into it. Pretty sure he thought I was joking or stupid and didn't answer the question, so it would be great to have confirmation. I can't imagine it would happen often (if ever) but it's a good way to increase the wife approval factor smile

I would think you would be OK, the parcel shelf comes out and the bit that covers the back of the glass looks like it does too

Hey guys, can I just check there aren't any zero cost options I should have specced?

A friend told me how he bought a 330d but didn't tick the no cost option for folding rear seats. Net result - yeah, he went to B&Q and when loading the car found the rear seats were fixed/welded/immovable.
