Did anyone sort out the driver seat belt feeder not working? Mine doesn't want to move unfortunately.

Was that not something to do with the seat position in the end?...feeder only works when the seat is a way forward or something like that. I have an SB so cannot test for you.

I think that profile will look naff anyway, I dont like the BMWs you see with the 30 profile on the 19s, just looks too thin for me.
Since the start of this wheels discussion, simonbamg has not commented back at all. Hope we have not upset him with all the negativity.
I would hope not, it's subjective anyway!

Well folks my S5 experience has come to a sudden end - car was stolen last night from our drive whilst we were out at a party. They smashed our French doors glass and came in the house and found the keys. Stole the wife's polo gti too.
Devastated is an understatement

Asking for some information - all those new S5 drivers, i wonder if you can let me know if you have issues with the accelerator ?

basic summary is you plant the right foot and there is a delay before the engine responds. its not turbo lag but something else, Would think that the throttle response would be there and then. Does anyone have the same experiance ?

Bizarrely I just saw about an S5 being stolen on Twitter, didn't realise it was a PH guy until I saw the names match up.

Absolutely sickening, thieving bds need stringing up and fking shooting!!

On the plus side, I guess the fact you were out is possibly a good thing, as you never know what may have happened.

Hope insurance is as painless as possible for you fella, bet you are fuming!

Yep, just saw this on Twitter as well and thought I recognised the plate initials..

Scumbags, and gutted for you. I know it probably seems like little comfort but at the end of the day it's just metal, and leased metal at that.

The main thing is that the family are safe and no one was in to disturb them.

This is where our Gap insurance becomes a saving grace.

Will your insurance co issue you decent temp replacement vehicles?

+1 to all the above. You're all safe, and that's the most important thing. I've only had cars broken into, and a trailer nicked - having your home broken into must take things to a different level entirely.

Does the latest Audi Connect stuff have any built-in tracker capabilities?

Our polo gti has been found it was chased from Chester back into Liverpool and dumped only a few streets from me so they are local. They did a runner across a field and evaded the police but at least its found. Was on false plates.
They are still searching for the S5 but I don't have much hope

It's the variable vane torque converter. Stick it in sport mode and it goes away but you end up using much more fuel in stop start traffic as there's much more drag. The delay is it adjusting to take up drive, almost like a clutch engaging.

I'm sure a software tweak could make it better, much like the cold 1st to 2nd shift too. The transmission is a fairly new iteration with coast function, sat nav prediction etc so some software funnies are to be expected maybe.

Gutted for you mate. But as others have said, if it was going to happen then it's best that you were out. Hope it all gets sorted quickly and that the family are OK.

Yes, + 1. We all talked about the possibility a way back on this thread as the S5 is very, very 'nickable' so to speak. Gutted for you, just hope your insurance company are not assh*les as well and they pay out in full.

Terrible mate. As mentioned did you register for the connect service? The MMI connect app will tell you where she's parked - doubt they would know how to disable that?

Is the mmi account the one you register for on https://www.myaudiconnect.com or is it all done via the YourAudi account?

I think it was my.audi.com memory a little hazy (don't think it was the account and URL that you track orders on as well!) Pretty sure you need to use the code attached to key as well.
App is decent (MMI connect) can open and lock car. Check on board info such as fuel info oil level. Where car is etc

The car had been in audi for a few issues and during that they did a software update to fix the seatbelt feeder issue. By doing this update it disconnected my app from the car and I only had the car back from audi two hours before it was robbed so had not set the connect back up.
Timing or what

Simon, gutted for you mate. That's my worry with this car and the main reason I got gap. Who are you insured with? Do you get a like for like replacement whilst you wait for new car? Not sure if the procedure...never had to make a claim before..

Is the Polo ok? Leased also?

One would you think that Audi would be able to find out where the car is nonetheless.

Sorry to hear your news, really really bad.
