Next theory MY18 = Body coloured, MY17 = chrome?
Could be that, as a cost saving. The older B S5's used to have S5 interior badges & seat embossing, now it's just 'S' to fit all S Lines as well.IJB1959 said:

Late or early 17?
Built early marchCould be. Does the new spec say chrome? Certainly did when I ordered mine.

Yeah I think you got yours like the day before me or something.

Yes, I believe it did say that somewhere on my original spec sheet. Had a look at the standard cofig again and it no longer mentions it anywhere. Also, the config picture has this omitted as well. As with most cars little bits are added or omitted until the next major model update, but it is a bit of a shame that this has now gone as it was a nice 'classy' touch to the handles and also prevents ring scuffs on the handle paintwork..Could be. Back to maintenance packages unfortunately...
12 days ago I agreed to add service, maintenance and tyres for £28 ex VAT per month. Today received an email from my contact (ordered via Audi dealership) saying he was preparing the finance documents and it has now gone to £41 ex VAT per month. He claims he has spoken to Audi and they claim that the price is subject to change until the finance docs are signed.
Anyone heard of this before? Has pi**ed me off out of principle.

Weirdly I was quoted £56 a month including VAT at quote stage, when I came to sign three weeks ago I was offered it at £24 a month including VAT. 12 days ago I agreed to add service, maintenance and tyres for £28 ex VAT per month. That is 2 years 10k per year, 6 up front, flat bottom steering wheel, misano red paint and VC. Only reason they could give is price is fluid.

I understand it going down (not a bad thing) but I think it takes the mickey to increase the price by 51%! Have made it clear that I am not happy and let's see where it goes. This is very much in line with what I was originally quoted... around £40ish, which I declined. When I received my paperwork it was quoted as an option for 20-something but I had also received a monthly discount for not taking maintenance. If I opted for the servicing/tyres pack I would have lost that discount, effectively making it 40ish a month. I've since enquired about adding post delivery, but haven't had a response.12 days ago I agreed to add service, maintenance and tyres for £28 ex VAT per month. Incidentally, I did a mostly motorway jaunt to Leicester last week and averaged 37.9mpg, which was very satisfying.

I had my first set of finance papers through with a monthly payment higher than had been agreed. this was offset by the minus number in the maintenance package on my original docs. to give the correct figureIncidentally, I did a mostly motorway jaunt to Leicester last week and averaged 37.9mpg, which was very satisfying.
Then there was the blurb about adding maintenance for £18 per month.
When my revised documents came through they had corrected the finance amount to the correct amount and added the Maintenance for £18+VAT. Glad I signed up quick before they changed their mind, and sorry to hear the same trick didn't work for you. ( Possibly someone got a bking after the first one/ few got through......)

What's the best 3 plus 23 pch deal that anyone got? Thinking about trying the dealers and would really like to push hard.
Are they still selling these or are they still on hold for new orders please?
They aren't available at the best rates we got anymore IIRC. Just over £11000 for 2y 10k.Are they still selling these or are they still on hold for new orders please?
And they aren't taking orders anyway due to emissions as I understand it.
