Still have mine until April next year. Current replacement ideas are a new M340i or a Civic Type-R but I've not actually done anything about it yet.

So it's a bit of a challenge not being in a German petrol car...

My s5 is due back April but will go back a month early when I get an I pace. That will be through the business as the bik changes make it a no brainier. I wasn’t looking to go electric but there’s nothing else around that takes my fancy after the s5.

Still looking in my case. Prob a bit early but I guess sometimes lead times can be long. 3 years up end of March next year.
Was looking at TRL deal on the x3 M40i but still in two minds. Just not sure what is going to better the brilliant s5. In my dreams perhaps a crazy good deal on the rs7

Is it true if we get another VWFS funded car there is a discount to be had? Or is that wishful thinking smile

How are you finding the Model 3P?
I had a P85 for two weeks when my father in law went on holiday and I found little to like despite the ballistic performance on offer.

Well its a rocket ship, basically. If rockets can be brutal but boring? Having driven both, I think it has a better (simpler?) cabin than the Model S, and I prefer the horizontal tablet over portrait. It's a nice small steering wheel. The seats are absolutely outstanding. It charges faster than an S too.

So are you a convert?

Well I'm challenging myself. It's very un-German.

Maybe I got my timing right as the Audi weak-hybrid diesel fleet doesn't appeal to me.

Replaced mine with an M5. Almost twice what I was paying but absolutely worth it so far.

Probably the last chance to have a V8 so made up for you. Did you pcp or lease it? I know there was some good deals recently as they prep for the facelift.

I leased. It does look as though the future is less cylinders and more batteries. Probably my last hoorah before I get something more sensible (boring). Although I have been telling myself this since 2013!

Post a pic if you can!
Would love an M5. Got my S5 till Aug 2020 now but doesn't stop me thinking about what's next. Was quite excited about the new M3 but having seen a pic of the rear it's pretty underwhelming. Looks like a 340 but with skinny quad tailpipes.
Cant complain though still enjoying the S5 - tuning box and full milltek make it pretty fun and just got the RS5 smoke rear clusters to put on this coming weekend.

Hi. My car went in for 2 year service today. They noticed the following on inspection:

1) rear brake pads 70% worn
2) front tyres at 2.5mm and 1.6mm tread
3) offering pollen filter change

I am returning my leased S5 in June and expect to do around 5k miles before then. Trying to minimise cost so am I right in thinking the pollen filter change is optional so I can decline? Secondly I understand the tyre with 1.6mm legally needs replacing but wondering if I can stretch out the other front tyre? Finally is it worth risking the brake pads?

Thanks in advance. Trying to do as little as possible with the car!

All depends what is says in your lease T&C's. Not sure what the threshold is for brake pads - did Audi mark it red or a must do job on the form? Pollen filter should be optional yes.
The 2.5mm tyre should be ok. Although the legal limit is 1.6mm some lease T&C's say they need to be 2mm at handback so again just check. That tyre should be fine though!

Just been to see a M340 at Liverpool BMW. Not wowed. Estate looks much better to my eyes but I really dont like the tailpipe design. Back end of the 320/330 looks much tastier to my eyes which doesnt sit well with me. There was also not a hint of wow factor either. Its off my list now anyway!

I love the grill to be honest. My only challenge with it is the idea of the liverpool crims after it when its parked outside my house.
