I received order confirmation this morning from Fleetsauce.

I was surprised to see that its being financed through Hitachi Financial Services as I thought it would be VWFS.

Is it the same for everyone else?
I've had my order confirmation too but no mention of who the finance is with. I assume yours is coming via JCT600?

Yes mate. Ordered via Fleetsauce. Mine doesn't mention anything on the forms but like you say I'm pretty sure they told me on the phone that it's through VWFS.

I'm not sure to be honest as it doesn't say in the email and I didn't ask but I will find out.

My form also doesn't state who the finance is with but the email I received stated that it was with Hitachi financial services as they were the most competitive. I did email back querying their policies regarding excess mileage as when placing the order I was told it would be VWFS.

My local audi matched Fleetsauces deal.

I've gone for blue, flat bottomed steering wheel and Virtual Cockpit. I added the VC after reading a number of reviews reckoning it was worth the £250..

I went for the Coupe Navarra Blue and agonised over black or grey leather. I eventually got too paranoid about grey showing dye transfer and thought the black contrasted slightly better with aluminium dash inserts. Also went with virtual dash extended led pack flat wheel and folding mirrors.
Did debate the B & O sound system too as my dads A5 back in 2008 had one and it was impressive. However the standard system still has a sub and central speaker so fingers crossed it's fairly decent.
Coming from a cheap Golf R lease deal this is a jump in cost but manageable - only thing I'm worried about is that it will feel like a bit of a barge to drive.
Mine is due Feb so I'll get pics up when it arrives and it would be great if everyone else does the same!

Lucky you!!!

I tried a number of dealers and none of them could get close to the Fleetsauce deal.

Same here :-( I was quoted £480 + VAT by my local Audi dealer!

Very nice! I'm also coming from a Golf R but this is definitely a step up IMO. The Golf R is a lot of car to beat though especially at the price we got it for. I'm disappointed that stuff like 'Hill Assist', 'Folding Mirrors' and 'ACC' is not standard on the S5.

Yeah its suprising how well specced the Golf R is as standard. I am looking forward to a six cylinder engine and trying an auto box (R was manual) but sceptical on how fun it will be to drive. I actually ordered a second R to give DSG a go and it was due for delivery end of Nov but when the facelift was announced I began looking elsewhere. Anyway this will be totally different and therefore interesting!
What spec did you go for? What are your thoughts on the front end lookswise?
Anyone got a dealer with a new A5 yet or a new S4 (be similar to S5 to drive)?

Mines in and done, just waiting for a slot.

Freedom Contracts just launch a slightly more expensive deal, wonder if Audi upped prices.

Totally agree! That's probably the biggest thing I'm looking forward to as well. My Golf R is DSG and I don't think I would go back to a manual now. I agree a manual is more engaging but I think especially in a 'luxury' car (S5) the DSG is essential for a nice smooth hassle free drive.

I went for Black, Hill Assist and Virtual Cockpit.

I like the looks. I think most Audi's look the same from the front across the range.

Is ACC available as an option on the S5 though? (I actually thought it was standard)

ACC is part of the Driver Assistance pack which is £1250

stupid question but how does the hill assist work with an auto? can you leave the auto box in D and it simpy holds it? i have it in the R but with a manual and have found it useful but havent specced it on the S5 figuring id just hold the brake myself and slip into N

Exactly that. Literally just leave it in D and once you come to a stop, tap the brake again to activate the assist, then back on the accelerator when you are ready to go. I've just become really used to it as I have it on the Golf R and I don't mind paying £75 for it even though I feel it should be standard.

Thanks mate thought that was the case - wish i added it now. I ordered through V4B not direct through a dealer so not sure if i can add options and pay for them upfront. Another potential downside of not going direct! Ive asked the lease company so ill see what they say if not ill approach the supplying dealer and ask too. Would add the hill assist and possibly BnO sound if i can pay upfront.
