I had a 40 mile trip the other day, mostly motorway. Was in comfort mode and got 34MPG.

I don't expect anymore than that from the beast; especially since I need to slip into dynamic for all the Ford Focus STs who think they have a chance

Hahaha that reminds me of an incident with a Mk2 Focus ST when I had my B8 S4.

Found an Audi R8 yesterday that I wanted to have a play with but he was far too sensible I knew I'd have lost but nothing ventured nothing gained

The only problem I had with it being genuine launch control is that the manual says that it is for S-tronic only and of course us S4ers aren't S-tronic!

Will give it a go after 1000 miles maybe

Oh i haven't tried it yet, poor girls only got 300 miles on her. Will put a few more on her before giving it a test

Worth the wait though. Done 40 odd miles today, mainly motorway, foot down a few times especially through some tunnels, rude not to. Bit chav but there we go

Average 32 mpg. Impressed to be fair, my old c class was only a bit better than that and the s4 is nearly twice as powerful!

Similar for me. Managed a max of 35 MPG

Have any of you activated the hidden mmi menu and used VAG COM to select any hidden features yet?

The B8 had loads which where nice little touches including dipping passenger mirror when selecting reverse for cars without memory seats.

Have a look at Carista. I think they're working on B9 support. On B8 Carista can enable the green menu (and fiddle with loads of other stuff) without needing VAGCOM

Good deal on a Citroen C3. Only £120 per month on a 1+17.

Got declined for finance Told the guy I was approved for an S4 and he was shocked that I couldn't get the C3 one

Maybe because you've got the S4? Have a look at your credit rating with noddle or clearscore.
