Mine came with, but I hadn't picked them as optional extras.

Electric seats are just dumb motors and buttons.

Memory seats require sensors on each motor, additional buttons for control, control electronics with non-volatile storage to count and store motor rotations and sequence the motors to restore seats to preset positions. Also integrated with other systems so that seats presets are determined by which key is being used.

I’m used to BMWs.. which have had memory seats in every one I’ve owned since the early 2000’s! 😄

Thanks for the help guys.
Going to look at a couple of S4’s this weekend.

Good luck with the hunt smile
Memory seats certainly aren't standard on many BM's. "Comfort Plus Pack" on current 3 series adds them, AFAICT.

Not seen many with them.

Coming to the end of my ownership. Going to sell mines once I’ve sorted out a couple of things no idea how it’s going to go selling it privately.

Been a great car hopefully because it’s well specced it will shift.

Could you go back to 2017 and order an avant instead, please? By all means give me a nod as and when, will more than likely make you an offer.

Surely they wouldn’t fit electric seats with no memory function? I’ve never owned an Audi, so not overly familiar.

From initial research, most desirable options to have seem to be B&O stereo, interior led lighting and virtual dash a must.
Sadly its an optional extra, i thought the same why would you have electric seats without memory
Mine doesn't have it ether and it bugs me the hel out of me, i looked at retro fitting it, but its not an easy upgrade so decided to live with it frown
thought i found a way to program it with the keys, but you need the whole lot

Thanks for the info, that’s a pita! Out of the 7 cars on my shortlist only 2 have the memory seats, so it does seem to be rare!

Anyone know if this is all factory fitted exterior ‘styling’ ?
I like some elements.. but some not so much (including the ghastly Audi and S4 stickers - yuck)

That's factory. There's a load of stuck-on tat to go with it, but it is a factory black-styling car.

Got Light & VIsion, B&O, Camera, Black styling, Virtual, 19s, Folding mirrors, Sport diff, black inlays. Nice spec.

Missed its first service (unless seller can prove otherwise).

You'd need to tread carefully. Might be a good car underneath, but you'd want to budget to de-chav it (or ask the dealer to), fit tyres that won't kill you, and confirm it's not been driven on its door-handles by a lunatic.
