Does anyone have any thoughts/comments on the S4/S5's massage seats? I was really quite impressed by the massage in the A8 but I'm guessing these are little less sophisticated?
My first ever experience of massage seats in this S5 and whilst it feels nothing like a massage it is fairly pleasant. They are on most of the the time. I use the middle 'style' on second speed. dufflecoat said:
Hello All,
Due to an enourmous mixup I have ended up with two sets of Roof Bars for my S5 Sportback, so I have a set for sale. Brand New Audi items with receipt, never fitted and comes with manual and box etc. I paid £250 for them from my local dealer, and they are available online here for £226 delivered. http://www.audipartsdirect.co.uk/product/Audi_A5_S...
I would like £200 plus delivery or can be collected from Sheffield. Any interest before I ebay them?

Dont hold out much hope for my ebay auction as car is so new. Probably going to wedge them in cellar for a year until more cars on road and there is a market. If anyone wants them for £150 let me know.

Just looked into the fitting brackets online for the Thule ones I have. They fit B8, B8.5 & B9, so I would then assume that the Audi ones have the same fitment (two pegs under the door rubber)? if that is the case then you have a lot more advertising scope.
Interesting, Yes pegs under rubber do you have a link? The Audi part code says A5 Sportback only.Audi delivered the first set broken, they sent a new set and told me to "bin first set" as written off. I spent £50 on new locks/keys to fix them so am keeping those and selling the new replacements.

Thanks, seems to be same but I would have to try them on an older car. Check out the fitting instructions .PDF
I was reading another thread on another forum about an exhaust valve mod, not something I'm going to do myself, but it has left me a little confused as to exactly when the exhaust is in "full bore noisy as" mode.
I thought if you had the exhaust in Dynamic, either by going into Dynamic on the drive select or by setting the exhaust to dynamic in individual mode, then it was "all guns blazing".
But, it appears it's not.
When you go into dynamic via drive select, it also puts the car into "sport" (S on the gear numbers) this has you holding gears longer, and you get the full noise with pops etc, but if you nudge the gear leaver back it goes back to drive (D on the gear numbers), so your still in dynamic, but not in S mode....with me so far. So this is like when your in individual mode with the gears changing up normally, but with a louder exhaust, but not "full tonk"!
So it seems like the only way to have the exhaust in "ride of the Valkyries mode" is to be in sport and dynamic exhaust mode (dynamic exhaust via, "auto", "dynamic" or "individual" drive mode).
The thread... http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/s5-exhaust-va...
Anyone else noticed this?

I don't want to seem smug, but this was always the case for me from day one. You can use S in any other mode as well.I thought if you had the exhaust in Dynamic, either by going into Dynamic on the drive select or by setting the exhaust to dynamic in individual mode, then it was "all guns blazing".

Stupid question incoming..... I received my car today and now trying to set various things up specifically the Audi MMI Connect app but it wont let me log in.
I can log in here https://www.audi.co.uk/youraudi/youraudi-login.htm... but that log in wont log me into the app
when i go here www.audi.com/en/myaudi.html it keeps on redirecting me to the USA site. Is that right?
Starting to get seriously pissed off with this.
Am i on the right website? Am I missing something?

Hi S5man and congrats on the new car! What's your initial impressions?
I can't remember exactly how I registered ( I did it about 3 months before my car came!) but I can confirm you have to register for yourAudi and myAudi separately - yeah, go figure...you can even use same details, just have to register for each separately.
I think I may have registered using the myaudi map. I do know that I log into what appears to initially be a .com rather than .co.uk website, but it works.
Once you have registered with my Audi there is still a validation excercise to go through....then you have to connect that account to the MMI itself, using the account name and the scratch off number on the plastic thing you get with the keys...yeah, it's all a bit of a faff really!
Sorry, hope that's a little clearer!

That does make sense, and I think is what I have deduced also.
I have noticed though, that if I start the car having left it in dynamic mode, it puts the gearbox in 'D' rather than 'S'. However, if I put in dynamic mode from another mode 'S' is also selected..is that how it is supposed to be?
