Are you two trying to upset Big Al. ?
No, I think we are just trying relive our youth hehe
So on the milltek do the original valves swap over and operate in the same way ie one exhaust working on start up, full noise only on dynamic in soprt mode etc
Yes, you swap the valve control body on both sides. I am at it again though....lick bought one of these as I could not resist being able to control the sound on the fly.

This allows you to manually (using Bluetooth) open or close the valves regardless of driving mode using the fob. You can open or close the valves whilst driving, and It will remember the last setting used as well on start up.

This is a better option than just disconnecting them, or by VCDS/ODB 11 ECU coding them to be open permanently. With the Milltek sport system we both have opening them up without any RPM restriction will make it LOUD, but only when you want it to be. You can always close them as well even above 2500 RPM for a quieter ride, or as not to disturb your neighbours in the morning or at night !

Sorry, S5 syndrome is quite contagious and costly I'm afraid. I'm over 6k so far and now considering carbon fibre wrapping the rear diffuser, bottom front spoiler lip, & the side skirts...so yet another £300.00 or so spin

The valve actuators will be swapped when the new exhaust is being fitted. The little unit just goes inline with the existing valve plugs and is self powered. Very simple job to install and they could probably fit it at the same time.

Looks like Roadrunner Motorsport now have the same exhaust as you but for coupe and polished tips for £1700 !!! Is this the same as yours but for coupe and polished tips? Will try and cancel my demon tweeks order and get this.

Hi Simon, me again (with mates TDI Box). I bought mine first, showed my mate and then he had to have one. Mine is still running perfect after 9k miles with no issues at all. I tend to keep it on map 6 as 7 is a little harsh IMO.

Slightly off topic, a dealer has been trying to sell me a RS5 Coupe once my S5 SB ends but back seats too small, they have confirmed today that RS5 SB is coming to UK, they had preview bumpf come in today. They reckon it should be available for my lease end date March 2019. Would anyone be tempted?

Setting number 6 is much smoother than setting number 7 on the TDI box.

An RS5 SB is tempting, but IMO having driven one (coupe) it is hardly any better than the S5 with the tuning box fitted, and for an extra 20+k?......no, I'll have the RS6.

If your test driving a RS4 Avant, try the RS6 straight afterwards....oh boy what a difference, you'll deffo want the RS6 but at a cost of course.

RS6. Still looks awesome and that V8 which you can take to 700bhp easy enough. Sure the interior is a bit dated but keep the screen retracted and its not bad at all. In my view they are the best looking estate ever

Yeah mine does the same - weird
