Not as good as the deals of a month or so ago, but not double. We've got a red 5dr on order on a 3+23 at £229.44, which equates to £5965, that was pretty competitive at the time. The deal above is £6693, albeit with a miserly 5k p.a. mileage limit.
The monthly payments after the deposit (2330) are almost exactly double what I am payingGareth1974 said:
So all your payments/initial/fees added together are only around £4500? Who was that with? I'm not aware of anyone who managed to get it lower than around £5800 total.
Just under 4600 with CVLJust for correctness - It's only my monthlies which are half, not the total payment over the term - that would be nice!

For a mk7, rather than mk7.5 then? Still very cheap motoring.
That is correct. It was delivered last year and comes with very good spec as standard: keyless entry/go, nav, heated seats, adaptive cruise and lots more.Don't know what I am missing from the 7.5? Is the power up some more?

I've just ordered a mk7.5 GTI 5dr manual in black rubin. Got an expected date of end June/early July but nothing to actually track the build. Is it worth asking, or does the lack of information only make the wait more agonising?
Just be patient - I don't think you can change the date by calling/emailing but others may tell you differently.VWAllBlack said:

Whats the deal you manage to secure?I thought about it for a couple hours feeling regretful, then hurriedly phoned up the next suitably priced agent before close of business yesterday, who told me they could get one at the end of June. And now I wait!!
So, I'd rather not say because i'd rather not be told where I could have saved money!!!

Id rather not say! I found what I felt was currently a good deal (admittedly nowhere near as attractive as those in April). Unfortunately due to my deliberation, by the time I phoned up I was told there was no remaining stock for the manual, only DSG. I declined and was told not to bother wasting my time phoning around as other agents would only have access to the same pool of available cars.

Fair enough! You'll hopefully have a GTI to smoke about, winner!I thought about it for a couple hours feeling regretful, then hurriedly phoned up the next suitably priced agent before close of business yesterday, who told me they could get one at the end of June. And now I wait!!

Anyone got any decent photos of the facelift not including red. Deep black 5dr preferably with standard wheels
