Its a mk4 polo underneath so best have a search on Polo forums as no doubt someone will have done one before.

Wasn't the 1.8T used in the equivalent Seat Cupra?

You can be pretty certain it will fit - I've heard of it being done in a Lupo..

A 2010 Fabia is a PQ45 chassis which is shared with the Polo and Ibiza and both of which could be bought from the factory with a 1.8 20VT engine in.

The BAM variant is simply a 20vt with a KO4 turbo so the block/head are exactly the same size as the 1.8 BJX BBJ 150hp 20vt fitted to those models.

How much of the BAM setup do you have? all the wiring loom and ECU> are you going for a OEM factory type install or will you be using standalone aftermarket ECU to run the engine?
