Was in a Audi dealership today, they had a q3 and q2 next to each other, both 2.0 tdi quattros. The Q2 was a grand or so dearer which was surprising, granted its newer, but it is smaller and has a smaller boot, probably too small a boot as rear leg room looked decent.

Anyone know is this thing is going to sell? What is the point of buying a q2 over a q3 if it isn't cheaper?

Q3 is going to be replaced soon. The new one will be a totally new vehicle based on the MQB platform, quite a bit bigger, and have way more tech. So I imagine the price will jump up accordingly.

Yeah the Q3 is quite old now. The Q2 is based on the newer MQB platform with the latest engines/ technology and isn't really that much smaller. Definitely the better buy right now and seems to be selling in steady numbers.

My mrs had a Q2 as a courtesy car the other week. Horrible little car, admittedly it was a low spec one, but still take a Q3 any day of the week.
