Celtic Tuning have one. 333 - 400bhp https://www.celtictuning.co.uk/services/performanc...

With a stage 1 map, they took my BMW 520D from 177 to 254.
Don't think that's the B9 though - 333hp start would be B8/B8.5. B9's are 354hp stock.

Odd that everyone thinks the B9 is 354bhp, it is actually 349bhp. 354 is PS. Not that 5hp is really worth worrying about though.

Why not consider a tuning box. Some peeps have had this fitted to their S5 (another thread on here) and got some respectable gains. Its undetectable and won't impact your warranty if you remove it before taking the car to a dealer.

There are several companies that can significantly improve your B9 S4.

MTM ( Uk agent QST Tuning) make a plug in that will not affect the warranty on your car. That gives 405HP. with de pipe and other small exhaust changes adds about another 18-20HP. ( The exhaust work may well affect the warranty)

This car has 555NM of torque and would see off the last RS4 with no trouble at all and if your car has the adjustable suspension on uk roads you are looking at a very rapid Q car that will keep up with most cars and ride alot better.

ABT also have engine software upgrades that produce very similar outputs, and can offer warranties.

Any chance of an update from OP or new view points on the current B9 tuning market?

Don’t know but some comments on here about tuning boxes not being detectable, seems they flag a TB1 code and will be known about, even if it’s unplugged. VAG master tech put up the Audi internal memo on Audi sport.

So let me get this straight some people want to modify their cars - which will put more stress on engine components than stock and yet if leased or PCP they want to hide that from the legal and future owners of the vehicle ? Also incase things go pop they want OEM warranty

Really it’s very immoral and if something did go wrong with it due to this remap fraud to get it fixed under warranty.

If you do it tell them. If it’s not your car PCH/PCP then you cannot do it as it’s not your car.

All these remapping lease pcp cars or fitting boxes to them should have a read of this. Ouch.

As in please pay for the car in full, now, ouch.

Seems fair enough, whilst you might think/know that you're improving it, if it's not your car then you really shouldn't be messing with it at least not without the owner's consent.

B9 can't be mapped afaik as the ECU is triple encrypted. Tuning boxes seem to work though yes.

Totally in love with it! Amazing car. Tad on the quiet side for a RS however that is likely to meet the up and coming noise regs and / or this particulate filter nonsense.

I know what you mean.. mine is starting to get a little better in dynamic mode, as the miles pile on.. Still a fairly rare sight on the roads, both the RS4 and 5..
