The Arteon lease thread

Hi all, does anyone know anymore about the missing Tri-Climate Control rear controller?
I have the Elegance in Urano Grey with the Amari (or similar word) black wheels. Looks super smart. Strange that the car's spec is missing something so obvious. I've called it in and VW are going to get back to me.
Cheers.

I logged a call too, waiting for confirmation. I suspect it's a supply chain problem, and they've fitted a bog-standard Passat item in order to keep the production line running, I have the Elegance in Urano Grey with the Amari (or similar word) black wheels. A quick scan of autotrader. On photos that show the back part of the console on 2.0 R line’s all you can see are vents with a blanking plate underneath. I couldn’t see a single car with controls.
I know, but this doesn't mean there's not an issue though; when the Mk7.5 Golf GTi came out, the first batch for the UK was built without standard equipment fog lights, something similar could have happened here. It's definitely part of the expected spec. The sales guys have confirmed.
Also, does anyone know how to manual control the suspension. I watched loads of videos whilst waiting for the car showing that there are about 40 settings for th suspension, but I can't find out how. I just have the driving mode button and select sport but I'm not sure that I notice a difference at all.

Unlike the rear air-con controls, you only get that on the 4-motion models, or as an option. If you've got a bog standard 190 R-line (like me) I don't think you get it.Also, does anyone know how to manual control the suspension. Loving the auto lights but for the fact that they don't kick in until something like 37mph. Had a top of the range new shape X trail before this and those lights went full beam at any speed. Got some proper twisty back roads with no lighting where you'll be lucky to get up to 37 but would still want the lights on.
As for rear controller, it's not an optional extra, it should be there. Doubt anyone who has straight leased one of this would get any compo. Still waiting to hear from VW. Feels like I'll be chasing this one for a car I don't own...

The fob-off email I’ve had from Volkswagen:
“I can confirm the images used in the brochure and price list are for marketing purposes only, these images may not be a UK specification vehicle.
For this reason, we would suggest to use the images as a guide. However, due to the confusion in the price list and brochure, our Marketing Team will be amending these to make them more clear.
I hope this information proves useful and thank you for contacting Volkswagen UK.”
