Quick look on the online config shows heated front seats as a standard option smile

I know that. At the time of ordering, there was a conflict between the brochure and online configurator as to whether they were fitted. There is a revised brochure online now with heated seats included, but wondered whether the first build cars actually came with the heated seats.

Ah fair enough, tbh I was in the dealer on Saturday and my friend who is in sales there said that the config on the website should be spot on now (as its updated to show only mk7.5 golfs from stock) just that the config for the Up is slightly broken still!

Front heated seats. Electric Lumbar, electric backrest (recline) but manual forwards and backwards if that makes sense...

My question was about 'auto high beam' and the three colour internal door LED lights - are they on the SE?

Does it include footwell lights and internal door handle lights?

Yes Auto High Beam (Elegance & Rline have Matrix)

No ambient lighting other than front footwell. No internal door lights.

On Monday I successfully placed an order with Eastern Western for an Elegance on 5k miles; 2k deposit then £221 pm X 23m. It would have been £206pm without the optional brilliant white paint (I wanted the no-cost grey, but they had all gone).

Thanks for that - seems the VW brochure is wrong about the internal lighting then :-(

Just had a look at the price list and it says updated 13th Jan 2020. It was definitely not standard on my price list in October. If yours hasn’t been built yet you’ll probably get it.

JSM - that pricelist showing ambient lighting in the SE was from before 13 Jan - my car was also built before 13 Jan (waiting for 1st March to register) so assume its just another brochure error.

Deal is so good I can live without the lighting - for £1,000 more I can have an Elegance but I'm not a fan of leather seats and I don't like the 19" wheel design either (but I do like the SE 18" wheels) - so overall it seems best to stick with the SE.

UPDATE - The new brochure still shows ambient lighting on the SE....hmm

it'll Be a nice surprise if it’s there..

I’ve got mine in white, and between the dark tints and charcoal wheels it’s very smart looking for a bottom of the range spec.

I went for white too - it seems to really suite the car (and it was the only colour they had left!)

Well after a little wait after needing to sort out a problem with existing lease car, my Arteon SE will be delivered on the 4th Feb.

I went for the Urano grey myself. should be quite mean and moody with the dark wheels and tints.

I’ve just had to change the front tyres on my Arteon, managed to get 30,000 miles out of them which I thought was good going. The rears are still going strong.

I’ve replaced them with identical Pirelli P-Zeros, 19” (R-Line), they were £100 each from Openeo, and £12 per tyre fitting, which is around £50 per tyre cheaper than I could find anywhere else.

Won’t get much wear out of them though, the car is going back in a month.

Jonesy - what was the arrangement for delivery from Listers - mine is coming from them but they would not let me collect the car as they are stored away from the dealership. I'm hoping they will deliver it on a trailer - was yours collected/driven or trailered? Would have e-mailed you but your e-mail preference is selected to 'off'.

Gareth - thats amazing tyre wear (or lack of wear)!! I usually swap mine front to back on a 2 year lease at the mid lease point and that pretty much ensures no new tyres needed provided you are not doing huge mileage - swap costs £20!

I have re-posted Jonesy's pic of Urano Grey car from the main lease thread :-)
