Octavia vRS 245 lease thread
Discussion
Argh! I was waiting for the Golf R estate deals to come out but they aren't any good so was going to my fall back of a vRS 245. I think I need to visit my local Skoda dealer to get some info on when the orders for 245's will be started again. I do have 6 month of my current lease to go so this may work out ok.
Not a 245, but Paul Hewitt at Hortons Skoda has offered me a VRS (230) Estate - DSG - 10k miles for £215 p/m with approx. £1900 down.
I missed the 245 offered but this is only about £7 p/m more and minus the extra bits and bhp of the 245.
Paul is very helpful if you're looking for a none 245!

Another recommendation for Paul Hewitt of Hortons Skoda.
My Golf R Estate doesn’t go back until July next year but I wanted to arrange a replacement sooner rather than later. Had been waiting to see what the latest deals were going to be given their advance publicity over the past few weeks. Considering the £/Euro exchange rate is around 18% lower compared to when I ordered the Golf I suppose they are not too bad.
Fortunately I had a quote from Paul towards the end of a October for a manual Octavia Estate VRS245 at 10k pa over two years at £6250 all in so went with this earlier this week, on the understanding that I could cancel if any better deals materialised. Can’t see this happening now so happy to stick with the 245 order.

Tried to switch out to a Leon ST Cupra 300 yesterday - dealer thought they had a spare one coming week 2. In the end it was a hatch, so continuing with the Octavia.
I did glean from the Business Manager that 245 ordering is now closed to 2019 - I've just been on the configurator and sure enough it's gone!

This is one of the many reasons not to procrastinate when you see a decent lease deal, like these. Snap them up before the inevitable happens!
I nearly ordered one but i was unsure if i really wanted the car and the price, as good as it was, was probably a bit more than i wanted to spend.
Cracking deals for the money though!

I cancelled my order last week - could not be given any indication of build date - fortunately got offered a great deal on a Leon ST Cupra 300 4Drive for £2 month more with a few options ( Metallic, Driver Assist Pack and Winter Pack)
Nice job! Even more power and AWD. Where from? Seen a few posts on FB etc but nothing seemed that great.Max M4X WW said:

IMG in Warrington - deal is a 6 + 23 on 14k per year. Car with metallic paint, Driver Assist Pack 1 and Winter Pack - £1872 down and £312 per month - massively cheaper than every other similar deal I have looked at online. Not an advertised deal - I'd have been happy with an ST 300 in FWD manual spec but this was such a good deal it seemed silly not to say yes Yes. The order book had closed and the car was taken off the configuratior on 4th December. Any orders placed after the 4th have been cancelled.
I was hoping for an April delivery having ordered on 19th October but delivery could be as late as the end of June. If I can’t get better news in January on my next update I may have to cancel.

Hey guys,
It looks like I'll be cancelling my order on a Skoda Octavia 245 VRS estate manual in red.
Its due for delivery in April and the deal I got was;
3+23 8k per annum
£228
£684 Deposit
All include VAT but I have to collect the car from the dealer. There are no fees.
Any one interested please let me know.
Thanks

Mine is ready earlier than expected. Got asked if I wanted it this month. But I’ve asked for it to be delayed till the start of January.
I’m going from a Golf R so don’t have high expectations but it’s cheap and they look the part.
When did you have your original order? I've managed to only confirm a provisional build week of late April which is pretty useless for me.I’m going from a Golf R so don’t have high expectations but it’s cheap and they look the part.
