My order has slipped by 3 weeks and still unconfirmed. I ordered mid October and was originally quite relaxed about the date but I'm getting more and more annoyed when the order keeps slipping back. The dealer have been awful as well!

Ordered end of October, no estimated build week still.

Skoda have provided me a mobex vehicle to keep me mobile until the VRS is delivered, which could be a while!!

What's a mobex vehicle and how did you wangle that? The mot runs out on my shed soon and I don't want to be throwing money at it when I've supposedly got the new car coming soon....

Someone on Briskoda managed to get his out of pocket extras paid for while he waits as well.

I’ve asked for the same but Skoda Customer Compliants are a bit slow to say the least in their communications!

Its what VAG group call it when your order is delayed over a certain timescale, and they supply a car to "keep you mobile"

Current lease I had was due to go back beginning of March, and on ordering the VRS was given an expected delivery date of March, so once my order slipped past the 18 week mark they have agreed to arrange a hire car.

Dealer applied to Skoda UK on behalf of buyer, and car was supplied by enterprise car hire, just need to put fuel in it.

OK thanks, was your current lease with vwfs also? I'm going to look into this for r myself, do I need to raise a formal complaint to apply for a mobex vehicle?

No was with Nissan, if it was VWFS they could have extended the current lease.

I had to get a complaint logged, and have a case manager assigned. Since then its been easy enough to arrange.

I've just raised a complaint with skoda over live chat and am waiting for skoda customer service to contact me in the next 48hrs. Will see what happens.
My first venture into leasing and the first time I've ever ordered a new car, what a fking joke.

Is the long wait only for the new 245ps versions please?

I ordered a 230ps manual in the week before Christmas with a March delivery. This has now verbally changed to April. No build date as yet when I use the Track my Skoda link.

Reading this thread, it might be a longer wait than I expected (as Ursicles mentioned earlier in the thread, it’s only a Skoda!).

Cheers

VWFS customer service and generally Skoda customer service has been diabolical in my experience.

It has heated front seats and front and rear parking sensors. Doesn't have heated front screen though.

I think they have to contact you in 48hrs by law once you've raised a formal complaint. I'm also waiting for the phone call from them.

Well I first contacted them on Saturday 3rd March. I had to chase them up last Thursday and today. They haven’t contacted me at all.

So after raising a formal complaint on Skoda UK live chat last weds I was given a mobex car yesterday! A very nice 2yr old vw passat. Don't care how long the 245 takes now as long as I get it at some point. Got to say since I raised a formal complaint Skoda have been brilliant.

No, they don’t. Imagine if this was actually law, every formal complaint would need to be actioned within 48hrs? rofl The courts would be full in weeks!
