Octavia vRS 245 lease thread
Discussion
Skoda have agreed to pay for the service on my Passat before it goes back so I can extend the agreement for a couple of months. They are also paying the excess mileage although I will have to pay the monthly fees which seems fair (I'd be paying more if the Octavia arrived). I think this was a fair outcome.
Skoda are giving me a hire car this week.
I refused to keep my car, and they picking up the tab for my hire car.
They ballsed up, think its only fair they compensate me. Reckon it will be June before i get the car as still no build date, which is fine with me as wont be paying monthlies in the meantime but will have a car.

Basically same situation as me,told them my current car mot runs out next month and I'm not spending any money on it if it fails (16yr old clapped out golf diesel) so they sorted me with a hire car.I refused to keep my car, and they picking up the tab for my hire car.

Surely an extension on your current lease will see a pro rata mileage allowance provided?New car apparently out in BW 22 ... bets on my car being allocated a slot in BW 21
Still stuns me how poorly skoda have managed this whole thing, to the point they no longer even list the petrol VRs on their website.
Pity anyone who actually paid for a new one as give it 2 yrs the mkt will be flooded with them.

Finally some movement on build week in my favour!!! Ordered October, was due March, obviously delayed and have had a build week 26 for the last 2 months!! Been brought forward to BW 17 now, hopefully it says there or moves forward again
Have you raised a formal complaint with them and got a hire car off them? Clinton Baptiste said:
