Paul was good to deal with here too..

What options did you spec ?
Not exactly held back so was metallic, Intelligent Light Assist, Simply Clever pack, Dynamic Chassis Control, rear USB ports, front and rear heated seats, Keyless entry and start and electric tailgate

Gone for a vRS245DSG estate on 12k per annum - 2 year deal

You certainly didn't hold back !

Did you have to pay the full cost of each option over the 24 months?

Paul at Hortons reckons a good rule of thumb is that you pay for 75-80% of the cost of the options over the term - to be honest the deal was a good one and my aim was to reduce monthly costs over my existing car and I have achieved this and still got everything I wanted.

A lot cheaper via Paul than any brokers I have previously looked at

Oops :-).

Paul has made buying a car at a decent price incredibly easy today - deal gone through and will be honoured for May 18 delivery as that's when my current car goes back

I work in the motor industry and know how bad a dealer experience can be - this today has proved that there are still some damn good people out there.

Paul at Hortons is someone I can totally recommend

I’m really tempted but with my sensible head on, I drive at least 22000miles per year and work only pay 12p per mile. I know I get a bit of tax rebate but I would have thought the car will struggle to do 35mpg.

I’m probably stuck with an oil burner.

For me he was just short of £200 cheaper than NVS over the term.

He beat the supplier of my existing car by a country mile.

I wasn't fussed about beating him or anyone else down to the last penny - I had a figure in mind that I would be happy with - Paul responded very quickly and professionally - I honestly did not feel the need or have the interest to shop around

I’ve got a cost per month for a 3+35 for 23k per year on a red estate with a spare wheel which is VERY tempting!

Could I live with 35 mpg though? Might add the adjustable dampers and sunroof as the cost is that low!

The sunroof and DCC were the two options I was considering as well but in the end I just wanted to keep it as cheap as possible.

The DCC is seen almost as an essential option according to the press reviews - it was the first option I specified

That’s what I read as well. Mine will be doing a lot of miles so seriously considering it.

How much does DCC add to the overall cost? I'm guessing the full £800-odd cost isn't simply rolled up into it? There must be some residual value?

It is about £320 per month. Just awaiting a price including DCC.
